‘He had to come off… we don’t want to take any chances’: Mikel Arteta gives an update on Takehiro Tomiyasu after the Europa League win over Zurich, as the Gunners boss confirms the defender suffered a ‘muscle injury’ after performing as replacement
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on defender Takehiro Tomiyasu after he had to be replaced by an injury in the club’s win over FC Zurich in the Europa League.

Arsenal were set to win the game against the Swiss side despite Tomiyasu’s injury, thanks to a brilliant attack from left-back Kieran Tierney, which propelled them to Group A top spot.
