Skye Wheatley sparks engagement rumours as she wears a diamond ring on her left hand wedding finger

They have been together for five years and have two children – Forest, three, and Bear, 10 months.

And Skye Wheatley has sparked rumors that she is engaged to her longtime partner Lachlan Waugh.

The former Big Brother star posted photos of herself wearing a huge diamond ring on her left wedding finger on Thursday night.

The large stamped square stone sits on a gold band and sparkled when Skye showed it off on her Instagram page.

The reality star turned influencer caused a frenzy in the comments section, with many speculating that Lachlan had finally proposed.

Skye clarified that Lachlan hadn’t proposed yet, but the couple had discussed it.

“I’m not saying a proposal, but we’ve discussed it,” she responded in a comment.

Skye got the ring from The Prestwick Palace, which specializes in and designs moissanite rings – an alternative to diamond with a much more affordable price tag.

The brand offers similar designs to any celebrity engagement ring — including ones inspired by newly engaged megastars Kourtney Kardashian or Megan Fox — with prices starting at $3,100.

Skye also posted several Instagram stories of her trip to The Prestwick Palace where she got the ring.

She tried on several rings in the store and asked her fans which one they liked the most.

She later shocked her beauty when she came home with the ring and said, “Honey, look. I’m practicing for when you propose.

It comes after Skye recently responded to lingering rumors that she’s split from Lachlan.

In a post on Instagram Stories, the 27-year-old Big Brother star shared a close-up photo of her pasta dish.

“Baby daddy’s spag bowl is something else,” she wrote in the post, referring to Lachlan, 30.

It marks the first time Skye has referenced Lachlan on Instagram since December 29, when she last shared a photo with him.

Reports of a breakup first surfaced in September last year, after Skye and Lachlan unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The moment it appeared that Lachlan had deleted his Instagram account altogether and was no longer tagged in Skye’s photos.

Skye also had to apologize at the time after an ‘insensitive’ joke on Instagram about the couple’s sex life.

During an Instagram Stories Q&A with fans, the video blogger joked that she demands sex from Lachlan even when he’s not in the mood.

When asked who was more dominant in bed, she replied, “Hahahahaha me…but only when he’s mad and says he doesn’t want sex.”

“Hahahahaha nobody tells me no… I won’t accept no if I want sexy time,” she added.

She later apologized for her “insensitive, triggering” words and promised to think twice before making similar jokes in the future.

“Lachlan and I have a healthy, balanced sex life. I’ve never been in a situation with Lachlan where he [has] did everything he didn’t want to do sexually, or vice versa,” she wrote.

“Never would I ever do anything to another human being that they wouldn’t agree to.”

At the time, Lachlan also responded to the furore that Skye made with a separate post on his Instagram Stories.

“I can’t believe I have to come here to discuss this on my behalf. Don’t send me a f**king message asking ‘I’m fine,’ the tradie raged.

“Come on guys, honestly, our sex is always consensual. What Skye posted was misworded. Please stop bothering us.’

Skye and Lachlan met on Tinder in 2017 and are parents to two young sons, Forest, three, and Bear, 10 months.
