Elvira gives Kylie Jenner a subtle shade for not tagging her on Instagram when she dressed up as Mistress of the Dark for Halloween… but admits it was ‘very flattering’
Kylie Jenner received a stamp of approval and a touch of shade from Elvira herself after dressing up as the iconic Mistress of the Dark for Halloween.
The makeup mogul, 25, nailed an Elvira costume over the weekend and posted a slew of Instagram photos to document her uncanny transformation.
But Cassandra Peterson, 71 — who portrays the horror hostess in real life — seemed to disagree that Jenner didn’t tag her in the photos.

“I didn’t learn that Kylie did the costume,” the real-life Elvira told TMZ.
Cassandra went on to say that Kylie did the costume “just” and that while she found Jenner’s flawless impersonation “very flattering,” she would have appreciated some official recognition.
“It would have been even more flattering if she tagged me,” added Peterson, who has 1.1 million followers on Instagram compared to Jenner’s whopping 372 million.

The Kardashians star is the second most followed person on Instagram, behind Portuguese football phenom Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, and his 493 million followers.
Kylie dedicated four different posts to her Elvira costume, a total of seven different pictures showing two different looks for the character.
The only tag included in Jenner’s posts was for famed photographer Jack Henry’s studio, who was responsible for taking the incredible photos.
The founder of Kylie Cosmetics has executed her perfect impersonation from head to toe.

Kylie donned Elvira’s signature beehive of black hair and modeled her iconic black gown with a sultry slit along the plunging neckline.
With her roomy cleavage and enviable thighs on full screen, Jenner’s face radiated a ghostly sex appeal as she took a variety of seductive poses and looked into the camera.
Kylie’s blood red lips and Cleopatra eye makeup were taken to a whole new level by crimson contacts that gave her look a piercing laser-like intensity.
Travis Scott’s girlfriend further completed the look with long black nails and a pair of black heels, while at one point they lounged in front of a foggy backdrop.

Jenner’s second look showed off her washboard abs in a skimpy sequin skirt and a white tassel spider bra.
The reality star adorned her daring arachnid ensemble with black stockings, black fingerless gloves and sparkly tassel earrings.
The tough mother of two posed in front of a giant black spider web against a purple background.
Her simple captions ranged from “Mistress of the Dark” and “Elvira” to rebranding herself as “Kyvira.”
With each of Kylie’s posts getting millions of likes and mass media attention, the real Elvira certainly has reason to complain about her lack of a shoutout.
Perhaps, now that she has expressed her disappointment, Jenner will rectify her initial social media snub too late.
Deep Gratitude: The only tag included in Jenner’s posts was for the studio of famed photographer Jack Henry, who was responsible for taking the incredible photos
