Anna Faris gushes about her ex Chris Pratt and his wife Katherine

She officially divorced Chris Pratt after nearly 10 years of marriage in 2018.

But Anna Faris enjoys a warm relationship with her ex-husband, 43, and his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, 32.

“We’re getting much closer, and I appreciate that so much,” Anna, 45, told People. “They protect me very much and I want to protect them very much. I appreciate their support so much.’

Anna, who shares 10-year-old son Jack with her ex, also had high words for Pratt’s “wonderful” wife.

“She’s just on top of it,” Anna said. “I love how she’s with Jack.”

The House Bunny star also shared their upcoming vacation plans — although her family won’t be spending Thanksgiving with the Pratts, she hopes they’ll be able to get together at some point during the holidays.

“We won’t be celebrating Thanksgiving together, but I hope we can have a holiday,” she said. “And I think we can. But right now we only have family obligations that take us elsewhere.’

“I’m happy with that element. And it just feels a lot easier now that time has passed. It feels really good not to live with that internal churning of unpleasantness,” she added.

Both Anna and Chris have moved on with new partners since their divorce in 2018. Chirs remarried Katherine in 2019, and they now share daughters Lyla, two, and Eloise, nearly five months.

Anna married cinematographer Michael Barrett last year and during her interview, she revealed how they spend as much time as possible together.

“We realized early on that we didn’t want to be apart,” she said, adding that there is a constant sense of “safety and security” in their relationship.

The interview comes a year after Chris was blasted for an early birthday tribute he posted in honor of Katherine, where he praised her for having a “healthy” daughter after son Jack struggled with medical conditions following his premature birth.

His post was branded insensitive by some followers, and others considered it a dig at Anna.

‘Guys. For real. Look how she looks at me! I mean. Find someone who looks at you like that!! You know!? We met at church,” he wrote in the caption.

“She’s given me an amazing life, a beautiful healthy daughter, she chews so hard sometimes I put my earplugs in to drown it out, but that’s love! She helps me with everything. In return, I regularly open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it is mine.

My greatest treasure besides my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which, if you know, says a lot. Her birthday is in 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back at this message. I love you honey.’

Users labeled his caption “proficient” (among other things) because Jack was born two months premature and spent only three pounds, 12 ounces, a month in the NICU and has a brain haemorrhage (severe brain haemorrhage).

He had a few hernias and eye surgeries, and also had “a minor heart problem,” Anna said, and he still has problems with his vision and leg muscles.

In an interview with Men’s health earlier this year, Chris revealed he was shocked by the reaction, saying: “I said something like, ‘Find someone who looks at you the way my wife looks at me.’ And then I gave her some s**t in the thing and said, “But I love you. I’m so grateful for my wife – she gave me a beautiful, healthy daughter.”

“And then a bunch of articles came out and said, ‘That’s so terrible. I can’t believe Chris Pratt would thank her for a healthy daughter when his first child was born premature. That’s such a dig at his ex- female.” And I’m like, that’s f**ked up. My son will read that one day. He’s nine. And it is etched in digital stone. It really bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life – for the people close to me – are a real burden.”
