Parents have lashed out at Rebekah and Jamie Vardy’s children’s book, labeling it a “waste of time” and labeling it as “nagging.”

“Don’t waste your money on this book, it looks and feels cheap,” said a user named Abi on Amazon. “Shouldn’t have been surprised with the author.”
Another poster added: ‘Please don’t waste your money or your kids’ time on this book. A complete waste of time. To prevent.’
Father Lemar Harrison wrote sacredly, “Not great. I bought this book for my children. When I told them whose it was, they refused to read it to them.
“One of the kids asked if the Sloth was selling stories about the other players to the press. This may be the plot for the next book.’

A fourth user added: ‘With talented children’s authors out there, this book, written by a single GCSE football player and his kiss-and-tell partner, should really be at the bottom of your picks list.
“It was given to me as a gift and I use it to light the fire instead of letting my children come near such chatter.”
All four parents gave it a five star on Amazon.
However, not everyone was equally disappointed with Colin’s story, with 63 percent of 14 reviewers on Amazon giving a five-star rating.
Jacqueline Hodgkinson praised the ‘beautifully well-written book’.

Amazon is now thrashing it for £6.99, the same as Blackwell’s. Online retailer Shulph sells it for just £5.51 and second-hand copies are sold on Amazon for just £4.09.
The 32-page book tells the story of a sloth who must face adversity.
