An Australian cleaning lady has revealed the must-have cleaning supplies she uses every day for her professional cleaning business, most of which are available at your local store.
The woman, who owns Spot on Cleaning Sydney, shared a tour of the everyday items she organizes in separate cleaning caddies.
Surprisingly, the Sydney cleaner doesn’t include a popular Australian cleaning agent anywhere in her kit: vinegar.
“Before someone tells me to use vinegar, I don’t like the smell of it and neither do my clients,” she said.

An Australian cleaning company owner reveals the must-have products she uses to clean homes. The woman organizes her products into different caddies, pictured is the bathroom caddy (left) and the kitchen caddy (right)
Her best bathroom cleaning products include five daily cleaning products and a selection of tools.
“In our bathroom caddy we have multi-purpose spray, grout cleaner, White King toilet cleaner and bartender friend,” she said.
‘I also added a lot of microfibre cloths, glass cloths and scratch-resistant scouring pads. As tools I add a joint brush and a squeegee.’
Her kitchen set has some similar items to her bathroom set, but the cleaner keeps them separate for hygiene and organizational purposes.
“The kitchen caddy has a multi-purpose spray, Morning Fresh dish soap, degreaser and tile floor product,” she said.
“I also add a scrub daddy and non-scratch scourer, as well as a safety knife. A ton of microfibre cloths, a glass cloth and gloves and a dust glove.’
The professional cleaner also keeps a bucket full of heavy objects.
“Our bucket generally contains our heavier chemicals that we don’t use regularly. This includes methylated spirits, 30 Seconds mold remover, skoosh heavy duty and a screwdriver that gets into tight spaces, scouring pads and garbage bags.”
