The Miami Dolphins have secured the services of Pro Bowl pass rusher Bradley Chubb of the Denver Broncos for a package that includes a first round in 2023.

By ESPNs Adam Schefterwill receive Miami Chubb and a 2025 fifth-rounder, while Denver now acquires Miami’s first-round pick (via San Francisco), a 2024 fourth-round pick and running back, Chase Edmonds.

Chubb made the 2020 Pro Bowl but his career was often interrupted by injuries, although his talent is undeniable.

This season has been an outstanding one for the 26-year-old, who has 5.5 sacks, 2 force fumbles, 8 quarterback hits, 26 tackles and 26 pressure in eight games.

Schefter also reports that the Dolphins are “expected” to negotiate a new long-term deal with the starrusher.

Chubb’s current deal will expire at the end of this season and will become an unrestricted free agent if no deal is reached.

Denver has drafted the North Carolina State product with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Miami has now further ramped up its AFC aspirations and added a much-needed pass-rushing threat to its 5-3 squad.
