What it’s like flying first class on Emirates internationally

A 22-year-old school leaver turned businesswoman has shared what it’s like to fly first class from Sydney to Paris with Emirates.

Paris Marchant shared a video on TikTok to document the international trip with her husband Lawrence Lees.

Unlike a business class ticket, First Class offers almost everything you need – from five-star service to on-demand food and even a shower.

But the lavish Emirates travel option costs a whopping $20,000.

In the video, Paris strongly recommended traveling first class if you can afford it, as she bragged about the comfort, food and products provided.

Before the maiden flight from Sydney to Dubai, the couple were treated to a cabin, each equipped with a huge television, minibar, snacks and doors on either side for privacy.

“These were both our first class suites – as you can see there is plenty of room, they are super luxurious and very comfortable,” said Paris.

The huge cabin seats turn into beds for extra comfort, and small lights are embedded in the ceiling to make it resemble the night sky.

They were also given personal care products such as toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hand towels, moisturizers and hand towels.

Paris sounded impressed and excited and said, “This is epic; this is a downpour in the sky, which you only get in Emirates First Class. Absolutely wonderful.’

“The menu was completely on-demand, so if you wanted something to eat, just hit a buzzer and they (the staff) would come.”

Paris chose between caviar, porcini mushroom soup, traditional Arabic mezze, tea-smoked duck, grilled courgettes or a seasonal salad. There was also an extensive wine list.

“The food was actually SO good and fresh,” Paris said.

At the stopover in Dubai, the couple ordered sushi and received a complimentary massage in the Emirates lounge before continuing the second leg of the flight and arriving in Paris.

A third said, “We strongly recommend that you don’t watch this 10 hours before a 16-hour flight from Los Angeles to Sydney.”

“You obviously worked really hard to pay for it, well done,” said another.

And they’ve worked hard – Paris and Lawrence are the duo behind the online women’s clothing store Generation Outcast Clothing that has even caught the eye of Kylie Jenner.
