Dick Van Dyke took a golf cart ride while shopping with wife Arlene Silver on Monday in Malibu, California.

The 96-year-old television legend wore a light blue sweater, dark pants and black slippers as he rode a shotgun in the cart with Arlene, 51.

Dick was found to have a left eye infection with an inflamed red lower eyelid after giving away money to job seekers and red plaid winter coats to needy people in Malibu earlier this month.

The Dick Van Dyke Show star and his former makeup artist Arlene married in February 2012 when he was 86 and she 40.

Van Dyke has an award-winning entertainment career spanning seven decades in film, television and stage.

He won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Albert Peterson in the Broadway musical Bye Bye Birdie which opened in April 1960.

Van Dyke rose to fame playing Rob Petrie on the CBS television sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show.

His film credits include the theatrical version of Bye Bye Birdie in 1963, Mary Poppins in 1964 and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in 1968.

Van Dyke also appeared in the 2018 sequel to Mary Poppins Returns as Mr. Dawes Jr. after portraying jack of all trades Bert in the original 1964 film.

The entertainer has received multiple awards throughout his career, including a Grammy Award, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and his Tony Award.
