Jamie Foxx joined by daughter Anelise, 16, at Back In Action premiere… after he revealed she saved his life

Jamie Foxx took his 16-year-old daughter Anelise Bishop to the premiere of the Netflix film Back In Action on Wednesday evening.

The beloved actor, 57, posed with the teen on the red carpet before heading to the Zoo Palast theater in Berlin, Germany.

At one point, the father-daughter duo stopped to share a warm hug for the cameras.

Foxx – who stars opposite Cameron Diaz in the new action comedy out January 17 – looked dapper in a black blazer with striped trim.

He completed his stylish red carpet outfit with black pants, a white button-up shirt and a black bow tie.

The Oscar winner is adorned with designer sunglasses and a black and white patterned pocket square.

Anelise – who Foxx shares with ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis – cut a quirky figure in a gray checked suit.

She paired it with a blue and white button-down shirt, a brown satin bow tie and brown leather loafers.

Anelise had a fringed suede bag slung over her body and retro-inspired round sunglasses over her eyes.

The teenager seemed proud of her father, who was suffering a stroke caused by bleeding in the brain in April 2023. The terrifying ordeal caused Foxx to lose his memory for 20 days while he was in a coma.

Foxx detailed the dramatic health scare — after keeping it private for more than a year — in his Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was…, which was released in December.

In the hour-long special, Foxx said his daughter Anelise was his “spiritual defibrillator” as he credited her with saving his life.

He began, “They said at one point, the first fifteen days, they thought they were going to lose me because my vitals were out of control.

‘There was a period of thirteen or fourteen days where they said, ‘We have to keep him calm and we gave him all the medicine we could. It’s not working, we have to keep him calm because his vitals are so high we’re going to lose him.’

“You know what’s the worst thing you can be in a hospital room when you’re trying to stay calm? Black relatives.

“Then a miracle happened, and that miracle worked through my youngest daughter.”

Jamie said Anelise, whom he shares with psychotherapist Kristin Grannis, snuck into my hospital room with her guitar.

He continued, “They said when she was playing my vitals went down.

‘The nurses at the nursing station were stunned. Like, ‘Wow, what did they give him?’

“They burst into the room and she said, ‘Shhh. I have it.’

‘Do you know what I discovered? That God was in that guitar. That’s my spiritual defibrillator.’

During this heartfelt moment, Anelise came on stage with her guitar.

“Thank you so much for your efforts when all was lost,” Jamie said.

“You had to make it because I always dreamed that one day we would perform on stage together,” she replied.

Along with Anelise, Foxx is also father to model daughter Corinne, 30, whom he shares with ex-partner Connie Kline.

Foxx reunited with Back In Action co-star Cameron Diaz at Wednesday’s big premiere in Berlin.

It was the Charlie’s Angels actress’s first appearance on the red carpet in five years.

She famously stepped out of the spotlight a decade ago to focus on building a family with husband Benji Madden, 45.

For the premiere, Cameron turned heads in a sheer black blouse paired with a tight black tank top, allowing her natural beauty to take center stage.

She wore high-waisted jeans and classic penny loafers, while a long black trench coat with a subtle iridescent sheen added an air of sophistication and drama to her look.

The actress posed next to a dapper Foxx, her co-star from the 2014 Annie remake, which marked her last major film project before taking a break from the industry.

Back In Action follows Emily (Cameron) and Matt (Jamie), two former CIA agents who have given up their lives of espionage and action to settle down, start a family and live a normal life.

However, things don’t go so smoothly for them as their identities are compromised and they are forced to fight and flee to protect those closest to them.

The new action comedy, directed by Seth Gordon, 48, serves as a comeback for both Jamie and Cameron as Jamie suffered a stroke in 2023 and Cameron retired from acting in 2014 for family reasons.

Diaz previously told Empire that she was returning to straight acting to work with Jamie again after Any Given Sunday and Annie.

She said, “I thought if I came back to do a movie, the only person I would come back to do it with would be this guy (Foxx).”

‘Serious. I got other opportunities along the way and I always said, “No. I’m not doing it, I told you… What? Jamie asked? Jamie? Oh, I can make a movie with Jamie!”‘

The cast list for the film also includes Kyle Chandler, Glenn, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, Jamie Demetriou and Rylan Jackson.
