Deborra Lee-Furness sends a message to her ex Hugh Jackman at the Australian Open after pictures emerge of him kissing his new girlfriend Sutton Foster

Deborah Lee-Furness turned heads at the Australian Open on Tuesday as she stood courtside next to her daughter Ava.

And the 69-year-old actress appeared to message her ex Hugh Jackman just hours after him was spotted kissing his new lover Sutton Foster.

Deb, who wore a $1,100 violet silk shirt adorned with an “evil eye” ring worn on her right hand.

It is believed that the jewelry protects the wearer from bad luck and evil spirits.

In certain cultures it is known as a good luck charm and can also be worn as a necklace.

The ‘evil eye ring’ traditionally consists of four concentric circles that form an ‘eye’.

Deb was seen wearing an “evil eye” ring with a silver shell and blue inlay with a dark “eye” in the center.

The mother-daughter duo were joined by Tennis Australia director Jayne Hrdlicka and former Australian Open doubles winner Judy Tegart-Dalton.

Deb seemed in good spirits as she arrived at Rod Laver Arena with Ava, 19, who was clearly excited at the prospect of a big day of tennis.

The beloved artist put on a colorful show in an outfit from the American high-end label BODE.

The quirky garment had a print of a cowboy riding a bucking horse on the left side.

The image was completed with the words ‘the round up’ and ‘let ‘er buck’, while the statement shirt also featured a horse theme on the collar and hem.

Deborra-Lee paired her colorful top with white casual drawstring pants.

She completed her outfit with a pair of similarly quirky raffia platform shoes from Robert Clergerie.

Keeping with the violet theme of her outfit, Deborra-Lee completed her look with similarly colored round sunglasses.

Meanwhile, daughter Ava was a vision in black, stepping out in a black and brown lace-up mini dress which she teamed with tall black boots.

Ava completed her classic look with a hanging choker around her neck and opted to let her brunette locks loose for the occasion.

The duo seemed thrilled to be in each other’s company and beamed happily at the photographers as they arrived.

Deborra-Lee’s appearance at the Australian Open comes just hours after Hugh was exposed kissing Sutton Foster for the first time since their relationship.

Hugh and Sutton, 49, appeared deeply in love and couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they kissed repeatedly while in the car at a San Fernando In-N-Out.

Sutton was seen tenderly cradling Jackman’s face as they locked lips while waiting to order the fast food in the drive-thru line – days before the LA fires broke out.

Their appearance comes after the Logan star attended a performance of Foster’s production of Once Upon A Mattress in Los Angeles this weekend and the pair were spotted holding hands during a date in Santa Monica.

The two stars had previously shared the stage on Broadway when they starred in a critically acclaimed production of the classic musical The Music Man.

Foster filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband Ted Griffin in October last year.

She had been married to the 53-year-old Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter for ten years.

Foster and Jackman have been inundated with rumors in recent months that an affair between the two has destroyed their marriage.

Hugh and Deborra-Lee announced in September 2023 that they would dissolve their 27-year marriage.

“We are blessed to have had a beautiful, loving marriage together as husband and wife for nearly three decades. Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to pursue our individual growth,” the couple said in a statement obtained by People.

The Australian couple share two children together; Oscar, 24, and Ava.
