Nathan Buckley’s ex-wife Tania breaks her silence on engagement rumours with new beau Marcus Kelly

Tania Buckley has broken her silence on engagement rumors with new boyfriend Macus ‘Marco’ Kelly.

AFL legend Nathan Buckley’s ex attended day four of the Australian Open on Wednesday with their son Jett, as guests of Piper-Heidsieck.

The former WAG stood courtside at Rod Laver Arena when she was asked about the status of her relationship, wearing a dazzling diamond ring.

“We are very happy,” she told the newspaper Herald Sun.

Speculation that Tania was ready to walk down the aisle arose last May after she was seen stepping out with a large sparkler on her wedding finger.

She was spotted walking through Melbourne’s Botanic Gardens with a friend wearing the ring.

The headlines came just a week after it was announced that Tania had found love again.

She was initially seen at a karting event with her arm around Marco.

The couple are said to have met through sport, which Tania and her children enjoy, the Herald Sun reported at the time.

The publication later described Kelly as a businessman and Formula 5000 racing car champion based in Tasmania.

It’s understood the couple had been dating for a while before going public in May 2024.

She put on a loving show next to Marco as they posed at the launch of the BYD Sealion 6 SUV electric car at Docklands Studios.

Tania dressed to impress in a figure-hugging green dress that showed off her stunning curves, while her wavy blonde locks hung freely around her shoulders.

However, it was the beautiful diamond worn on her ring finger that attracted the most attention, sparking rumors that she and Kelly were soon engaged.

The lovebirds stayed close together as they posed for photos, with Kelly lovingly wrapping his arm around Buckley’s waist.

When Tania was asked about their relationship status, she told the Herald Sun: “We are very happy.”

Nathan and Tania married in December 2002 and announced their divorce in December 2020, almost 18 years to the day they got married.

The couple released a statement via Tania’s Instagram page at the time, publicly announcing that they had split almost a year earlier.

They share two teenage sons, Jett, 18, and Ayce, 16, who live with Tania.

In the meantime, Nathan has found love again and is currently in a relationship with 35-year-old business manager Brodie Ryan, with whom he went public in October 2022.

Tania has put her mansion up for sale for $18 million following her divorce from husband Nathan in 2022.

Located in upmarket Toorak, the luxurious five-bedroom, six-bathroom, two-storey apartment was put up for sale in March 2024.

Tania landed the property in the divorce settlement and had it listed with a price guide of $16 million – $18 million.

Designed in a classic Tudor Revival style, the beautiful home features impressively scaled living areas, French smoked oak herringbone floors and large windows.

There is also a 500 bottle cellar, a swimming pool and a large double garage, while all bedrooms on the top floor have their own balcony.
