America’s biggest Diet Coke fan Donald Trump receives a special gift for his inauguration
President-elect Donald Trump, a noted consumer of Coca-Cola products, received his own bottle of Diet Coke ahead of his inauguration on Tuesday.
The former and future president appeared in a photo with Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO James Quincey in a few photos shared by deputy director of communications Margo Martin on social media.

Quincey sits next to him with a smile on his face.
The bottle was presented in a special red commemorative box with a card boasting of the $55 billion in economic activity the Coca-Cola Company has generated while supporting 860,000 jobs in the United States.
“We are proud to continue our decades-long tradition of celebrating the U.S. presidential inauguration with a commemorative bottle,” the note said.
Inaugural special edition bottles of Coca-Cola are not unique to President Trump. Specially branded bottles for former President Barack Obama’s inauguration are selling for as much as $50 per bottle, according to listings on eBay.
Trump has a long history of drinking Diet Coke, even installing a special button in the White House during his first term as president that delivered the drink to him immediately.

“Everyone gets a little nervous when I push that button,” Trump joked to guests at one point during his first term as president.
The president-elect’s addiction to Diet Coke has become legendary, as those around him say they rarely see him drink anything else, even behind the scenes.
UFC CEO Dana White revealed during an interview that he has “never seen Trump drink a glass of water.”
“He will be at the fights with me all night long. You talk for six hours all night long. So I’ll ask him, “Do you want water?” “No, no, no.” And someone will bring him a Coke, and he will drink Coke, ‘White said in a podcast interview.
PGA Golfer John Daly revealed to broadcaster Tucker Carlson that Trump drank more Diet Cokes than he did, which at one point in his life was 20 a day.
“My god, I thought I could drink them, but man, he can drink them,” Daley said during one conversation with Kid Rock and Carlson.
“He did put them away,” Kid Rock agreed.

A still from the documentary of him holding a bottle of Coke quickly went viral when a MAGA supporter tweeted: “Trump has switched to regular Coke. Full activation is imminent. This is not an exercise
Trump has also been spotted during the 2024 campaign wearing the red-label Coca-Cola, prompting speculation that he had switched from the diet version with which he has a love-hate relationship.
In 2012, Trump noted on social media that no matter how much Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi you drank, they would still gain weight.
“I’ve never seen a skinny person drink Diet Coke,” he noted.
Trump later admitted that he would continue drinking the drink despite his reservations.
“The Coca Cola company isn’t happy with me – that’s okay, I’ll keep drinking that shit,” he concluded.
