Fergie visits local firefighters and thanks them for saving her home: ‘I couldn’t be more grateful’

Singer Fergie shows her appreciation for the firefighters who saved her Los Angeles home.

The 49-year-old singer (born Stacy Ann Ferguson) has a home in Brentwood, which was spotted dangerously close to nearby flames last week.

Although there have been no updates since, the singer was featured in a video from OC Firefighters, thanking them for saving her home.

The post shared on Tuesday was captioned: ‘Thank you @fergie for visiting Base Camp today and expressing your gratitude to the thousands of first responders on the #lafires.’

The post included a video with an unnamed firefighter and Fergie, who expressed her gratitude for the firefighters.

“Hey, I just want to thank all the firefighters out there. Thank you very much. My house is saved,” she began.

‘I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for all your hard work, working 24 hours a day, fire departments, sheriff departments, thank you to everyone,” she added.

The Hacienda Heights resident also thanked her hometown of LA for “all your love and human spirit” as the video came to a close.

The Black Eyed Peas singer was one of many celebrities to clear out the star-studded Brentwood neighborhood.

Others who evacuated the posh enclave included Dennis Quaid, NBA legend LeBron James, Harrison Ford, Kamala Harris and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

While it’s unclear whether the other stars’ homes will be unscathed by the flames, Fergie’s house was saved.

She bought the house in 2007, the year she became engaged to actor Josh Duhamel.

The couple married in January 2009, although they separated in early 2017 and filed for divorce in June 2019, which was finalized in November.

She also owned a home in Solvang, California, although she sold it in July 2023 for $3.7 million.

The flames that crept close to Fergie’s home in Brendtwood were part of the fire that devastated the Pacific Palisades area.

While many of the smaller fires around Los Angeles have been extinguished, the Palisades Fire has burned nearly 24,000 acres and is only 17% contained.

There is also a massive fire in the Northeast known as the Eaton Fire, which has burned more than 14,000 acres and is 35% contained.

The fires started last week due to high winds of more than 100 miles per hour that swept through Southern California.
