All the ritzy towns stars like Heidi Montag have fled to after fires ravage Los Angeles
Stars have fled Los Angeles en masse as fires consume the landscape of Southern California.
So far, Billy Crystal, Miles Teller, Anna Faris, Mandy Moore, Ricki Lake, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Joshua Jackson and Paris Hilton have seen their pads go up in flames.
Now, many famous residents, like Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, have left Los Angeles for some laid-back destinations in hopes of finding temporary comfort.
One of the places where many celebrities like Lala Kent have fled is Palm Springs, about a two-hour drive from Los Angeles. The Kardashian family owns a home in Palm Springs and may be seeking shelter there as fires rage near their Calabasas neighborhood.
There are plenty of resorts that are busy, such as the Thompson and The Colony Palms. Palm Springs has plenty of pools, golf courses and spas where you will feel at ease.
Another is Santa Barbara, over an hour north of LA. That’s where Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are staying after their Pacific Palisades home burned down.
Ellen DeGeneres and Jaclyn Smith are in nearby Montecito.
Then some stars like Heidi Klum are on dream vacations. The model, who has a home in the Palisades neighborhood, lives in St. Barts with husband Tom Kaulitz.
Disneyland in Anaheim, California is full of people distracting themselves from the destruction. They enjoy rides like Pirates Of The Caribbean and dine on snacks like hot dogs and ice cream.

“I went there yesterday and there were loads of people, lines everywhere and everyone seemed excited to be in the happiest place on earth,” one park visitor told DailyMail.com.
And it’s safe. That’s because Disneyland is an hour’s drive south of the Pacific Palisades, where the fires are the most intense.
The park is so far from the epicenter that smoke is not a problem and the air quality is relatively good.
However, in Southern California, the winds were so strong starting Monday that the fireworks show at Disneyland was canceled.
This comes just as the Disney company is pledging $15 million to the victims of the fires.
On January 10, Disney said they had committed $15 million for initial and immediate response and reconstruction efforts.
“We will support vital organizations providing essential services on the ground, including the American Red Cross, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, among others.

Park visitor Jensen Roseboom of Missoula, Montana, said the wind didn’t stop him from going for a ride, but started picking up later in the evening.
“The only major change that happened was the park made the choice not to have fireworks just because of the risk of something going off course with the wind,” Roseboom said.
Oscar Noyola of Fullerton also said the wind picked up when the show was canceled, but also noticed something different about the park on Sunday.
“There’s no one here in the park… I think it was because of the fires. Because no one was trying to come…no lines,” Noyola said.
The 10-minute fireworks show is dependent on weather conditions and is subject to change or cancellation, Disneyland said on its website.
