The host of Late Late – who has been married to Julia, 46 for ten years – tried to go unnoticed as he headed for his SUV with a bodyguard in front.

James stepped out in a blue hoodie and light wash jeans with a chic pair of Gucci sneakers, wearing his gold wedding ring on his ring finger.

The TV host wearing his wedding ring comes days after his wife Julia was spotted without hers running errands with their youngest daughter Charlotte, four, near their home in Pacific Palisades.

In addition to Charlotte, the duo also shares daughter Carey, eight, and son Max, 11.

The Late Late Show host spoke openly about his relationship with Julia, describing the moment he met her as a “miracle.”

James and his family are preparing to leave Los Angeles to return to his native UK, with the move having been hit by a huge backlash after being accused of abusing staff at Balthazar.

He joked on Good Morning Britain that his wife has to look at him every day and say, ‘What have I done? It’s a big mistake!’

“This place is amazing, this little island. The things it created, the things it gave the world. I’ve always been very proud to call it my home.’

He said: ‘It gets very emotional. It becomes a real thing to bring it to a good end. I’m so proud of what we’ve done.’

Speaking of how he met his wife Julia, he gushed, “I definitely knew I couldn’t do better than this. When I met Jules… It’s a miracle. Every day she just has to look at me… ‘What have I done? It’s a big mistake!”
