Trump posts wildly realistic lip-read of bromance with Obama at Jimmy Carter’s funeral – including brutal dig at Kamala

Donald Trump has posted an amusingly realistic lipread of his conversation with former President Barack Obama as the pair laughed and chatted at Jimmy Carter’s funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington DC.

Onlookers noted how well the presidents seemed to get along, while Trump was later questioned about what the pair were talking about.

It even led to some professional lip readers trying to decipher what the pair had said to each other.

But Trump has decided to put an end to the speculation by publishing his own parody version of what may have been said between the two leaders.

In true Trumpian fashion, Trump has sent the internet into a frenzy after posting a wildly creative and outrageous fake lip-reading video.

The parody, shared on Truth Social and Trump’s Instagram account, begins with Obama praising Trump’s 2024 victory before taking a brutal swipe at Vice President Kamala Harris.

The video begins with Obama sliding onto the couch next to Trump as somber choral music plays in the background.

The two exchange pleasantries before delving into a satirical roast of their political colleagues.

‘Congratulations!’ Obama asks, before Trump asks how the former president is doing.

“I knew you would win,” Obama declares in the video, all delivered by an eerily convincing AI voice.

“Come on,” Trump replies with a smug grin. “Anyone could beat her.”

In another segment, Obama criticizes President Joe Biden for refusing to step aside after his disastrous debate performance in June 2024.

“He just didn’t want to leave,” the fake Obama complains, referring to President Biden. ‘I did what I could to help [Kamala]but she was terrible.’

As if that weren’t enough, the parody cuts to a silent, frowning Hillary Clinton before Trump gleefully notes that she still “hates” him and will “never forgive” him.

The parody ends with the fake Trump and Obama making plans to meet.

“We definitely need to put something in place,” says fake Trump, with which Obama agrees.

“Let me know what works best for you,” the fake Obama obliges only to be interrupted by Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, who take their seats in the front row.

In the real video, Harris then turns around and sees Obama and Trump talking to each other.

“Did you see that, she doesn’t even look at me,” says the fake Obama.

“Some people told me they apparently fell off the wagon,” the voice of AI Trump responds.

“I think that is indeed the case,” Obama replies. ‘She’s not really built for this. And that pressure, if you’re not built for it, will do it.”

In real life, Trump was asked about his real-life interaction with Obama at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago the night after the funeral.

He declined to say what he and Obama discussed. But he joked: “It looked very friendly, I must say.”

He noted that he had seen the coverage of it on television and the obsession with their conversation on social media.

‘I didn’t realize how friendly it looked. I said, ‘Boy, they look like two people who like each other,’ and we probably do,” he said. “We don’t have many different philosophies, right, but we probably do.”

The president-elect added, “I don’t know. We just got along. But I got along with pretty much everyone,” possibly referring to former Second Lady Karen Pence’s criticism of him and Melania.

He said the entire celebrity cast met “backstage” before the funeral and said “we all got along really well.”

Trump helped spawn the so-called ‘birther’ movement, while Obama humiliated the reality TV host on stage at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2011 – which is considered a motivating factor for Trump’s decision to 2016 to launch a White House run.

But on Thursday, Trump and Obama acted as if they were old friends.
