Miranda Lambert helps raise over $200K for animal victims of the LA fires

Miranda Lambert’s animal charity MuttNation Foundation teamed up with national lifestyle retailer Tractor Supply to raise more than $200,000 for the animal victims of the LA wildfires.

The 41-year-old country crooner publicly thanked Sunday morning for their contribution to the Relief for Rescues Fund, which started Thursday.

“And starting today at Tractor Supply, you can donate online or in person at checkout and 100% of it will go to relief funds,” Miranda – who has 27.2 million social media followers – said.

“So from MuttNation and Tractor Supply, friends thank you all so much for helping and we continue to send prayers, love and light!”

Lambert said the money would benefit several animal shelters in the fire-affected region, including Pasadena Humane.

The community-supported animal shelter has taken in more than 400 animals from the Eaton fire, including a “five-day-old puppy found under a collapsed building.”

Last Friday, Pasadena Humane announced they were only accepting monetary donations after the overwhelming outpouring of support: “We are fully stocked and cannot store additional supplies without harming our operations.”

The Wildfire singer co-founded the nonprofit MuttNation Foundation with her mother Bev Lambert in 2009, and they’ve raised more than $9 million for little critters.

Firefighters are entering day six of battling four separate wildfires that are burning a total of 38,276 acres, with Pacific Palisades 11% contained and the Altadena area 15% contained.

Officials have confirmed 16 deaths and more than 105,000 residents remain under evacuation orders as damage and economic losses are estimated to cost between $135 billion and $150 billion.

Numerous celebrities lost their homes in the fire, including Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anna Faris, Cary Elwes, Diane Warren, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Eugene Levy, Steve Guttenberg, Jennifer Grey, Ricki Lake, Matt Damon, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal and Adam Brody.

On January 26, Miranda will celebrate her sixth wedding anniversary with second husband Brendan Mcloughlin.

At 33, the retired NYPD officer is eight years younger than Lambert, and he welcomed his six-year-old son Landon (with baby mama Kaihla Rettinger) three days after meeting the three-time Grammy winner in 2018.

Miranda finalized her divorce from fellow American Blake Shelton in July 2015 — three months before he began romancing third wife Gwen Stefani on the set of NBC’s The Voice.

Lambert – who gets 5.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify – won’t perform live again until April 5 at the Two Step Inn in Georgetown, Texas.
