Justin Bieber ‘needs the money’ and is planning 2025 music comeback four months after becoming a father

Justin Bieber is looking forward to a return to music after four years, as insiders say he is motivated and recharged for a rebound in his professional endeavors.

The Canadian pop star, 30, “needs the money and wants to work,” sources say Puck newsMatthew Belloni in his What I’m Hearing newsletter Friday, in a column making entertainment predictions for the new year.

The Love Yourself singer – who welcomed his first child, son Jack Blues, with 28-year-old wife Hailey Bieber in August – still owes touring company AEG “a ton for his canceled tour” in March 2023, Belloni reported.

The Peaches artist also has a slew of “other pop star expenses” that are eating into his bottom line, Belloni reported.

The Grammy-winning singer’s return to the spotlight will come with a new lineup of support staff after parting ways with manager Scooter Braun over the past two years.

Braun announced his retirement from music management last summer after representing superstars like Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato in the past.

According to the newsletter, Bieber is now represented by attorney Michael Rhodes, who has represented celebrities such as Madonna and members of the Kardashian family in the past.

Bieber’s financial troubles come two years after he sold the rights to his catalog for $200 million in 2023. Los Angeles Times reported that Rhodes was an integral part of it.

The rumors that Bieber is returning to the music world come more than four months after the 28-year-old musical artist told Mk.gee The New York Times that he had written and recorded songs with Bieber.

Mk.gee said Bieber was “searching” creatively after cementing his place at the top of the genre in the 2010s and early 2000s.

“Everything that comes out of his mouth, that’s pop music,” Mk.gee said of Bieber. ‘You can do really crazy things behind that, just because it represents something.’

Bieber’s most recent studio album was 2021’s Justice.

The album received critical acclaim and spawned successful commercial songs such as Peaches, a Billboard Hot 200 chart topper; and the top 10 hits Holy, Everyone and Ghost.

Bieber officially canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour in February 2023 after the singer said he was diagnosed with the condition Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which can lead to facial paralysis.

Bieber had previously had to cancel shows on the fall 2022 tour, explaining his absence from the stage in an emotional post on his Instagram Stories.

“Earlier this year I made public my battle with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, which left my face partially paralyzed,” he said. “As a result of this illness, I was unable to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.

He said he had health problems after performing a set at the Rock in Rio festival.

“After I got off the stage, exhaustion hit me and I realized that I have to make my health the priority now,” he said. “So I’m going to take a break from touring for now. I’m doing well, but I need time to rest and get better.

“I am so proud to bring this show and our message of justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support through all of this! I love you passionately!’
