Luke Littler has shared pictures of himself enjoying some down time after winning the World Darts Championship earlier this month.

After becoming an overnight sensation by reaching the final in his first appearance in the competition, the 17-year-old returned to the Alexandra Palace this year with the intention of going one step further.

Against darts legend Michael van Gerwen, Littler produced a dominant performance earlier this month to secure a historic victory and walk away with £500,000 in prize money.

The triumph marked the culmination of a whirlwind twelve months in which he collected a total of more than £1 million in prize money, placing him second behind Luke Humphries on the PDC’s Order of Merit.

With less than a week until his return to the Oche to defend his Bahrain Darts Masters title, Littler took to social media to share the spoils of his success.

Posting to his Instagram Story, the avid Manchester United fan revealed he had received a bumper pack containing Panini’s official Premier League sticker collection.

Littler then shared a photo of another huge stash of stickers, with the caption: “I’m definitely completing the collection, thanks again after this @paniniukofficial.”

In another story shared with his 1.8 million followers on Instagram, Littler shared an image of his Xbox Series console with the caption: “A few days back to normal.”

Following his run to the 2024 World Championship final, Littler revealed how he would spend his winnings.

“I always treat myself to a few Under Armor tracksuits,” he said.

‘And I’ll just buy a new jacket and some FIFA points for my Xbox. That’s about it.’

Ahead of this year’s tournament, Littler signed a dream deal with Xbox, offering fans the chance to win exclusive prizes based on his performance.

The partnership would see Xbox hand out various video game prizes to fans across the UK for every 180 maximum, nine-dart finish or victory at the Ally Pally.

Littler said at the time: ‘I’m looking forward to working with Xbox and bringing together two of my greatest passions: darts and gaming.

“I hope that through my performances at the PDC World Darts Championship I can offer fans as many rewards as possible and help them score more with Xbox.”

The deal between the two parties was announced in typical video game fashion, with Littler appearing as an asteroid headed for Earth and described as an “alien hero.”

Luke ‘The Nuke’ then emerged from the green smoke before taking a sip of his drink, and proceeded to do a 180, to the shock and amazement of onlookers.
