I’m A Celebrity Australia drops huge hint about cast member’s identity as their VERY famous friends are revealed ahead of series debut

Channel Ten has dropped a huge hint at the identity of the ‘comedy king’ who will appear in the upcoming season I’m a celebrity…Get me out of here! Australia.

The show’s official Instagram page took to the platform on Friday to share a huge list of the mysterious comedian’s closest friends.

The post features photos of Russell Crowe, Mel B and Pat Rafter and teases that they are all friends with the unknown comedian.

“They’re all famous contacts found in our comedy king’s phone,” the caption read.

Fans went into frenzy with the exciting clues, speculating that the comedian was most likely an Australian household name.

New Zealand actor Russell, 60, and Australian tennis champion Pat, 52, both live in Australia, while former Spice Girl Mel B has spent a lot of time in Australia.

The singer was most notably a panellist on Channel Ten’s The Masked Singer Australia last year, before the show was axed from the network.

Speculating about the identity of the unnamed funnyman, many fans shared their hopes that Tim Minchin could appear on the reality TV series.

“Tim Minchin?” one guessed it, while the other suggested Dave Hughes.

“Tommy Little,” a third user chimed in.

It comes just days after radio host Tommy appeared to drop a major hint that he is joining the line-up for the 2025 series.

Earlier this week, he posted a video to Instagram showing him wearing a wide-brimmed hat with a lanyard while surrounded by trees.

One fan then asked Tommy if he was “going into the jungle,” and the celebrity star failed to shut down the theory.

Instead, he fueled the speculation by simply commenting on the post with the silent emoji.

The Channel 10 series will be released on January 19 and a host of Australian stars have already been tipped to join the series.

Comedian Kitty Flanagan, former Bachelorette Georgia Love and Married at First Sight bride Ella Ding are all rumored to be joining the show, which will once again be hosted by Robert Irwin and Julia Morris.

There are also rumors that two-time Big Brother winner Reggie Bird will pack her bags for South Africa for what will be the show’s eleventh season.

The speculation began when a now-deleted Instagram post teased that the cast would include “a radio star, a chart-topper and a stadium superstar.”

The post also said the cast would include a “comedy genius, a pop culture icon, a silver screen star, a matinee idol, a leading lady, a sports hero and a football strongman.”

Fans have speculated that Sigrid Thornton, best known for 1982’s Man from Snowy River, could be the ‘star of the silver screen’, while others have theories that it could be Bump creator Claudia Karvan.

Chicken Shop Date’s sensation Amelia Dimoldenberg has also been put forward as a suggestion for ‘the British girl’ alongside Jordana Grace and Maddie Grace Jepson.

Producers always drop huge hints about the cast members every year, and they’ve teased that one cast member will be an “influencer with a penchant for love.”

Others added to the theory that Tommy Little will enter the jungle, just days after he appeared to drop a major hint that he is joining the line-up for the 2025 series in a video.

The clue could point to a number of high-profile former reality stars, with fans speculating it could be Ella Ding, Georgia Love or MAFS bride Jessika Power.

“She has conquered one house, but can she conquer the camp?” teased another online clue that could point to two-time Big Brother winner Reggie Bird.

Drag Race Down Under star Kween Kong has also been tipped off after producers leaked online that ‘reality royalty’ would be joining this season’s cast.

Another cast member is said to be a ‘real’ hero who may need to be ‘rescued’, which could be a cheeky reference to Bondi rescue star Bruce ‘Hoppo’ Hopkins.

As for the “football strongman,” host Robert Irwin dropped a big hint in a recent trailer, telling viewers, “From the roar of the crowd to the roar of the lions.”

His telling clue left some fans convinced AFL Brisbane Lions champion Joe Daniher would join the camp.
