Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been ‘in regular contact’ since LA fires forced him to evacuate

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly “checked in” with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and his children Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12, amid the deadly Los Angeles wildfires.

The 55-year-old actress is said to have felt “worried and concerned” after learning that her ex-husband and his family were among 130,000 people under evacuation orders, which have extended from the Pacific coast to inland Pasadena.

A source said Page six that she “reached out as soon as she heard Ben’s home was possibly in danger and that he was being evacuated” and to see how he was doing during the “whole ordeal.”

Plus, she “lets him know she’s there for him and the kids,” whom he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

“She offered her support for whatever they needed,” the insider noted.

To the relief of Affleck and his loved ones, his property survived the massive Los Angeles wildfires.

After fleeing his home, he was seen heading to safety at Garner’s home.

While Affleck was fortunate that his home survived when so many other Westside stars and Pacific Palisades residents lost theirs, he’s not out of the woods yet.

The gusty winds continue to blow through Los Angeles and could still spark new fires, although they appear to have weakened somewhat from their highs on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

Since the Pacific Palisades fire broke out, new fires have broken out further east in Altadena, forcing major evacuations in nearby Pasadena Tuesday evening.

Fires broke out again in the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday, threatening densely populated parts of Hollywood.

The Armageddon star has only lived in Pacific Palisades for a short time after purchasing a home in the area for $20.5 million following his divorce from Lopez.

While it’s far from the lavish retreat he and his ex had lived in together in Beverly Hills, it’s not exactly small at 6,000 square feet and five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Before moving into his current home, he had lived in the massive, 38,000-square-foot Georgian mansion that he and Lopez bought for $60 million.
