LSU receiver Kyren Lacy — tipped as a first-round pick in the NFL Draft — is wanted by police who say he was involved in a fatal car crash.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for the 24-year-old. They allege his speeding on a highway near Lafourche Parish caused a crash that killed Herman Hall, a 78-year-old former Marine, and injured two others.

The report adds that Lacy and his representatives have been in contact with law enforcement for turning himself in and that he is also wanted for misdemeanor assault and reckless operation of a vehicle.

He declared for the NFL Draft on December 19, two days after the incident, with the caption: “The time is now!!”

He had his best year of his career at LSU in 2024, with 58 catches for 866 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games.

During a three-year stint with the Tigers, the 6-foot-4 Lacy had 112 catches, 1,692 yards and 16 touchdowns.
