Chemist Warehouse employee names the unexpected $30 item they can barely keep on shelves: ‘So underrated’
A Chemist Warehouse employee has revealed the $30 item currently flying off the shelves – and it’s a ‘dupe’ of a hugely popular designer buy.
Melbourne retail manager Jess said the new Michael Bublé Crazy Love Eau De Parfum ‘smells like YSL Black Opium’, which costs $282 for a 90ml bottle.
‘This smells divine. And if you ask me, Michael Bublé fragrances are so underrated,” Jess said in her mind Instagram video.
‘Michael Bublé fragrances are currently flying off the shelves and he has just released a new fragrance: Crazy Love.
‘The fragrance has playful top notes of candied fruit and spicy Italian mandarin oil, followed by a luxurious blend of coffee extract and almond.’
The store manager said the ingredients work well together because it “brings warmth” and is grounded with “comforting notes” of vanilla extract, patchouli and cashmere wood.
‘This new one smells a lot like YSL Black Opium. It is designed for the woman who lives with passion and flair,” said Jess.
“Go to the Chemist Warehouse and try this for yourself.”

While others said it’s a great scent, especially for those on a budget.
Michael Bublé fragrances are selling out at Chemist Warehouse, with customers saying By Invitation Rose Gold is their all-time favorite scent.
‘I drank about three bottles. It smells so good. Every time I don’t have it in my collection and smell it on someone else, I’m going to buy a bottle. It’s just that good! So affordable, not offensive and lots of compliments,” said one customer.
‘It’s my favorite Michael Bublé fragrance in his collection (the best by far). It is light and suitable for everyday use at a great price. These are my four bottles and I will buy it again,” another shared.
‘Beautiful low-budget scent. I always get a compliment when I wear it,” one person added.

And it’s not just women who love Michael Bublé fragrances.
A male customer said he was walking into Chemist Warehouse to pick up a perfume for a last-minute dinner invitation when he came across the singer’s By Invitation Rose Gold.
‘When I came in I saw Michael Bublé and it was the only perfume that wasn’t under lock and key. I thought Michael Bublé made men’s perfume. He looked quite masculine in the poster. I thought, let’s give it a try,” the customer explained.
‘I thought, I would smell better than what I do now, so I have nothing to lose. A woman next to me looked at me strangely as I pumped a few sprays of it onto me. I like the smell. It’s sexy. It’s usually a scent I notice on someone else that makes my senses tingle.
‘I’m going to buy this as a gift for my wife. Recommended Ps. I didn’t get any compliments, just strange looks.’
