Jerry Springer’s most infamous guest Jasmin St. Claire who slept with 300 men makes shock claim about show
A former porn star who once broke the world record for most sex acts in a single day is blasting The Jerry Springer Show, claiming her performances – and the show itself – were nothing but staged chaos.
The Jerry Springer Show, which ran from 1991 to 2018, was known for its over-the-top antics, featuring wild fights and crazy dramas that blurred the boundaries of daytime TV reality.
But now Jasmin St Claire, who insists one of her four appearances was the ‘highest rated episode’, claims much of the madness was as manufactured as it seemed.
‘There were mainly fake situations in the show. Sometimes there was a real surprise, but 90 percent of the time it was all fake,” the 54-year-old star told The Sun on Tuesday.
“There were fake scenarios, people were brought forward by agents and hired to appear on the show. They knew each other and they were best friends off the show, even though they fought on stage.”
St. Claire even recalled how her agent and the producers “came up with a storyline” for her first appearance — about guests who had shocking secrets to reveal to a loved one.

“That’s why they brought me in, they decided the idea was for me to tell my ‘friend’ that I wanted to do porn on the show,” she explained.
“They picked the guy and I didn’t meet him until shortly before the show. He owned a window repair business in real life, but was very good looking and was friends with one of the producers.
“On that day, everyone sat down and Jerry came out,” she continued. ‘I was introduced and after I told my ‘boyfriend’ that I wanted to get into porn, he turned on all the theatrics and drama.
“It was a great show.”
Before joining The Jerry Springer Show in late 1994, Jasmin had made a name for herself as a porn star and model, working with Penthouse, High Society and the Playboy Book of Lingerie.
For her performance, she claimed she was paid $250 for expenses, a luxury hotel stay and a covered flight.
The real benefit for Jasmin – and many others – was the exposure, which allowed her to get higher pay for work outside the show.
She believes the late Jerry Springer, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2023 at the age of 79, had a special talent as a talk show host.

“With Jerry, he was like someone’s uncle or grandfather,” she told the outlet. “That’s why so many people had no problem going on the show or revealing their deepest, darkest secrets or kinks — they felt comfortable telling him.”
She added: “The audience was there to judge you, not him.
“They weren’t paid actors like us, they were bored housewives, unemployed losers and people who just wanted to see a freak show.”
Jasmin’s third appearance on The Jerry Springer Show in 1996 was the one that really turned heads.
During the episode, she shared a bold claim about breaking a record for performing “300 sex acts with 300 men in a 24-hour period” in an adult film.
She says the episode became “the highest rated” in the show’s history.
“Jerry, it made me the most famous porn star in America. I mean, I didn’t make the mistake, I loved it…” she said on the show.
“The upside is that I’m making a lot of money now, it was something extremely scandalous and I’m super famous.”
