Mythic Quest season 4 is called before Congress

Things aren’t exactly going well in the Mythic Quest office more normal. On the contrary, just ask Jo (Jessie Ennis), who is ready to “turn up the intensity” (much to the chagrin of her colleagues).

Four seasons later, the Apple TV Plus show has covered a lot of ground in the video game industry. But season 4 brings everyone back together under the same office lights in a situation where people are sure to bump into each other and egos clash. Particularly that of Ian (Rob McElhenney), who in the season 4 trailer is seriously jealous of the amount of attention Dana (Imani Hakim) is getting, while also consulting an AI… based on himself. With new challenges emerging every day, how will Mythic Quest employees fare? (And how will HR keep track of this?)

But that’s not all the new season has to offer. Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) has a boyfriend, while David (David Hornsby) and Rachel (Ashly Burch) are called before Congress to testify about the state of video games. Presumably there are also big developments in the games everyone is working on, but in the trailer we only see kids using PlayPen to make sex games, so we can mostly trust that the status quo hasn’t completely changed here.

Also of interest to Mythic Quest fans: the show’s spin-off, Side missionwill make his debut at the end of this season.

That show explores the lives of employees, players and fans on the fringes Mythical quest‘s story. Although the series will only last four episodes, the series will feature quite a few guest stars, including McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters, William Stanford Davis, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales and Shalita Grant .

Mythical quest season 4 premieres on January 29 with two episodes. New episodes are released weekly on Wednesdays. All four episodes of Side missionthe anthology spin-off, will be released on March 26.
