Jelena Dokic recently revealed a dramatic weight loss of 20 kilograms.

The tennis star looked slimmer than ever on Tuesday when she shared a sunny photo and some tips for a successful 2025 on Instagram.

Jelena, 41, who is getting ready for her commentary gig on Channel Nine at the Australian Open, looked slim as she walked across a tennis court on a clear day in Melbourne.

She wore a sky blue dress with a pleat detail on her slim midriff, while a low-cut v-neck offered a hint of cleavage.

Jelena completed her on-court look with a pair of white tennis shoes and accessorized with some gold bling in her ears.

Along with the image, Jelena shared a series of “things to avoid and things to focus on” in 2025.

“I’ve noticed that the following things have made a difference in my life over the past few years and have really made me more focused on myself, my life and what’s important to me,” she began the lengthy post.

“Ignore what people say about you, this may be hard but not everyone will like you and that’s okay,” Jelena continued.

Practicing gratitude was also high on her agenda, as she always strived to find the positive, “even in the worst situations.”

“You can only determine what is within your power and control,” Jelena added.

“What you can’t control isn’t worth thinking about or worrying about because you can’t do anything about it.”

Jelena also advised thinking positively, being kind to yourself and “doing things that bring you joy.”

“You can’t and won’t always have a great day, but the way you handle the bad days and the attitude you have can make a big difference,” she said.

She continued her post, urging people to put the past behind them as quickly as possible, while also slamming “toxic” people.

The commentator shared a post on Instagram in June comparing her current appearance to what she looked like in 2023, when she was 20kg heavier.

In the caption, she emphasized that she was happy in both photos, adding that weight loss was not the goal but simply a “byproduct” of adopting healthier habits.

“This is about HEALTH and not SIZE,” she continued. ‘So many questions about how I become healthier, what helped me lose weight. Weight loss wasn’t a priority; it’s just a byproduct of taking care of my health.”

Addressing those who accused her of crash dieting, Dokic further clarified: “I didn’t lose weight quickly. I lost 20 pounds in just under 10 months. Nothing fast.”

Dokic explained that she lost weight due to “a family history of diabetes” and the fact that she had recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure.

She also revealed exactly how she did it.

‘I stopped eating late at night, especially things like burgers, pizza, chips and desserts, because it made me feel so sluggish when I woke up, especially for early morning work and flights.

“So I don’t eat heavy meals in the evening anymore and I don’t eat after 7 p.m.,” Dokic wrote.

‘I now eat more salads and soups with my meals, such as a Caesar salad with chicken or tomato soup with multigrain bread. These types of meals don’t make me feel sluggish and keep me full.

‘I now drink more water and have started using less soft drinks, even diet soft drinks.

“It’s small changes over time and while I still have my cheeseburger and fries days, it’s just a lot less and I definitely don’t eat junk food when I work and travel,” she concluded.
