A straight-A student who told her family not to worry about her before she disappeared was found dead by a hiker in the Nevada desert.

Jennaleah Hin, 17, of Henderson, disappeared from her family home on Dec. 30, telling her family, “You don’t have to worry about me anymore” as she left, according to Red Rock Search and Rescue Commander Mark Speer.

On Sunday, Hin’s body was found by a hiker in a desert area near Desert Sunflower Circle and Spanish Needle Street, police said.

Her death has been ruled a suicide, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Her remains were found around 10:45 a.m. with no signs of foul play COLD.

She left after a “normal family conflict” that “teenagers have with their parents,” Speer said The independent.

“Nothing unusual,” he said.

She was discovered less than three miles from her home in Henderson, near Las Vegas.

Red Rock Search and Rescue began searching for the teenage girl Thursday after she was caught on camera walking toward the desert.

Police are still investigating her death to determine whether she ever left the desert, the local newspaper said.

She was last seen leaving her parents’ house wearing a black hoodie and cargo pants. According to Speer, she left the house without a phone, backpack or water.

Hin’s parents held a news conference Friday with Henderson police asking for help finding their daughter, who had never run away from home before and was a straight-A student at Foothill High School.

“Jenna, wherever you are or whoever you are with, I just want you to come home,” Swanson said during the conference. “I want you to be safe. We love you so much.’

“I just want to say, ‘I love you, and we just want you back,'” Hin’s stepfather Corey Swanson said at the presser. “Our house is broken without you.”
