Dollar Tree fans scramble to buy $1.25 Valentine’s Day dupe BETTER than the Walmart version

Fans looking for an early start to Valentine’s Day shopping are rushing to Dollar Tree to purchase a $1.25 Walmart dupe.

Dollar Tree currently sells one heart shaped bowl online and in-store to celebrate the love-filled holiday.

It’s one of several items listed under the discount store chain’s Valentine’s Day Party & Decor category on its website.

The bowl also looks strikingly similar to the one from Walmart Large red heart cupwhich retails for $1.98.

The bowl, made by Way To Celebration, is currently in the online shopping carts of more than 100 Walmart shoppers, according to the website.

Both bowls are festive and useful for anyone hosting Valentine’s Day events at home or work.

While both bowls seem solid, only one had online shoppers going wild.

Dollar Tree’s heart-shaped bowl received a four-star rating based on selections made by five online shoppers.

The item also received five-star ratings for its quality and value.

“I found these at the store today and bought them with a smile on my face because they make perfect gift baskets,” one reviewer wrote of the Dollar Tree sign.

Another five-star loved the bowl and thought it was “perfect as a Valentine’s Day gift.”

Dollar Tree’s red heart plates have a little catch if shoppers want to buy one online.

Shoppers who want to purchase the Dollar Tree bowl online must purchase a minimum of 24, which costs $30.

Anyone who prefers the Walmart bowl may purchase only one online at the stated price.

Dollar Tree has offered an extensive number of dupes before and during the 2024 holiday season.

The discount chain stocked several products similar to items available at Pottery Barn, Michael’s and Williams Sonoma.

One item that was “basically the same” as a Pottery Barn product was the $1.25 Dollar Tree candle holder.

Dollar tree Gilded cut glass candlesticks are available in four colors and can be purchased online or in store.

A set of four candlesticks from Pottery Barn costs $60 – $15 each.

Another Dollar Tree must-have product before Thanksgiving was a $1.25 pumpkin-themed placemat, similar to an item from Pottery Barn.

Other top dupes at Dollar Tree by the end of 2024 include $1.25 Christmas House Plush Red Stockings, a $3 Christmas Garland, and a $5 fall-themed Lazy Susan.

Despite the shockingly low prices, some of the more than 7,000 Dollar Tree locations had been closed by U.S. retailers by 2024.

Dollar Tree was one of many chains in the “retail bloodbath,” but was not one of the 49 retailers that filed for bankruptcy.

Eight Dollar Tree locations were closed nationwide for the week ending December 13.

The discount chain also had a difficult year in the eyes of its customers, who were angry about the sudden price increases.

Customers were outraged as soon as they found out the company had increased the price of the taxi from $1.50 to $7 in an effort to increase profits.

“We are already seeing meaningful sales increases at the 1,600 Dollar Tree stores that have converted to our latest premium format,” CEO Rick Dreiling said in September.

The company is also taking advantage of the price increase to sell a wider range of items to attract wealthy customers.

These products include food, beverages, pet care and personal care items.
