Khloe Kardashian shares relatable reason why she missed her family’s famed Christmas Eve bash
Khloe Kardashian was unable to attend her family’s annual Christmas Eve gathering because she was caring for her sick children.
The reality star, 40, posted a series of clips to Instagram Stories on Thursday in which she wished her 305 million followers a Merry Christmas and explained how she was spending the holidays.
The Los Angeles native is mother to daughter True, six, and son Tatum, two, with her ex-boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson, 33.
“It was definitely a great one – I just love the holidays and Christmas – but different,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said as she worked out in a black hoodie.
Khloe, the youngest of the three Kardashian sisters, explained: ‘I couldn’t make it to the Christmas Eve party, which was a shame, but it wasn’t really a party this year – we were just hanging out. at Kendall’s house.
“But I still miss being with my family, but Tatum was super sick the weekend before, but now he’s perfect and great – he was great on Christmas Eve and everything.”

Khloe said that “True has had a fever…but now she’s just starting to feel better,” adding that she found it “really scary” and “terrible” to see her daughter sick.
Khloe said she was able to take her children to her mother Kris Jenner’s neighboring home, where True was resting.
“Yesterday we were all still at my mom’s, she was sleeping in another room while I was preparing breakfast and all because we still wanted to be in the Christmas spirit,” Khloe said.
Khloe said she gave True her “Santa toys” because she was in a better mood.
“Poor thing… that’s when you know your kid is sick and Santa’s toys don’t even excite him,” Khloe said. “Poor, poor thing, but I’m so glad she’s feeling better.”
Khloe said she “wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas” and “couldn’t really do that yesterday” because she was “kind of busy with True and wanted to be there in the moment with everyone.”
Khloe ended by saying, “I love you guys and I hope you have a beautiful, beautiful time” in the last week of the year.
She described the last week of the year as “that slow time of year when you can stay in your pajamas and it doesn’t matter.”

Khloe was seen in an Instagram Stories post on Wednesday documenting her time cooking while sipping from a champagne flute.
Khloe wore a headband with a dark gray top with a flannel around her waist as she used a spatula.
She referenced her younger brother Rob Kardashian, 37, and cousin Mason Disick, 15, as the family played the trendy game Boxbollen.
‘Cooking for the family, drinking for myself and playing Boxbollen for Mason – Rob, do you want to play Boxbollen?’ she said.
