Democrat lawmakers fearful they’ll be MURDERED in wake of attack on Paul Pelosi

Democratic lawmakers, including Debbie Dingell, fear for their lives in the wake of a terrifying hammer attack on House Speaker husband Nancy Pelosi, Paul.

Police arrested David DePape, 42, after breaking into his underwear at 2:27 a.m. at Pelosis’s $6 million San Francisco home Friday and hitting Paul Pelosi, 82, with a hammer while yelling “where’s Nancy.”

Michigan Democrat Dingell gave her love to the Pelosi family during a conversation with NBC and said she was afraid of the increasing trend of seizures she is seeing.

Dingell recounted the moment she saw men with “assault weapons” in front of her house before Jan. 6 — when a mob of supporters of then-U.S. President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol.

She said, ‘this hatred and fear is dangerous.’

“This anger that we’re seeing across the country… the acceptance of language that shouldn’t be there, the bullying… I think we all need to take a deep breath because it’s endangering our democracy,” she said.

After an attempted kidnapping of the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer Dingell said she had written hateful statements about her after the incident.

“Look, we’re humans, you do get scared and by the way, one of the convicted men also said on the dark web that I should be hanged for treason,” she said.

“It’s this venom (sic) that’s scary and you know we’ve all got to stand up to it (sic).”

Michigan’s 12th Congressional Representative went on to say that social media has played a critical role in what she says is a trend.

“I think some of the social media that was supposed to bring us together has allowed people to have a blank slate to say what they want,” she said.

“There are people with guns who threaten people, that’s not okay and I don’t care what party you are. I don’t want anyone I know, Republican or Democrat or far right far left to be hurt.

‘We must all resist it, otherwise our democracy will be in big trouble.’

Pelosi had surgery to repair a skull fracture after the attack, but is expected to make a full recovery.

DePape is in custody and will be charged with multiple felonies, including attempted manslaughter.

President Joe Biden called the attack “horrific” and Republicans and Democrats condemned the violence as the Speaker of the Washington House rushed from DC to San Francisco to assist her husband.

DePape grew up north of the border but moved from British Columbia to California 20 years ago. He was pursuing a love interest, his stepfather told me CNNand relatives have maintained that he was a “good kid.”

An acquaintance of his told CNN that DePape struggled with hard drugs about eight years ago, but “tried to build a new life for himself.” She said she cut off contact with DePape after receiving “disturbing” emails in which he sounded “dangerous” and “out of touch with reality.”

His social media showed he was posting conspiracy theories about the origins of the covid epidemic, the validity of the 2020 election, and the January 6 uprising on Capitol Hill.

Meanwhile, a woman claiming to be DePape’s daughter said her father is “consuming darkness” and sexually assaulted her and her brothers when they were children.

Inti Gonzalez blogged about the 42-year-old on Friday, writing in the now-deleted post that her mother met DePape in Maui when she was pregnant with her.

The couple moved to the Bay Area shortly after Gonzalez’s birth.

According to his daughter, DePape slowly became “toxic” until Gonzalez’ mother left him when she was 13 years old.

Joe Biden, pictured on the campaign trail in Philadelphia, said “too much political violence draws a direct line between the January 6 riots and the attack on Paul Pelosi.

DePape will be held in the San Francisco County Jail on several charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse and other misdemeanors.

Meanwhile, this year, political attacks are on the rise. And, in the wake of the attack on Paul Pelosi, the US Capitol Police is assessing additional security options to protect the families of congressional leaders.

Currently, there is no formal family or staff protection for members of Congress. Private security can be paid for from campaign money.

Lawmakers from both political parties have faced threats.

Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio claimed that one of his supporters was attacked this week during a recruiting campaign. And Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger said he received death threats against himself and his family after serving on the committee investigating the Jan. 6 Uprising in the Capitol.

But attacks on prominent government officials extend beyond the US, with two British MPs killed since 2016.

Last year, Sir David Amess was murdered in October by an IS fanatic, while lawmaker Jo Cox was murdered in 2016 by Nazi-obsessed loner Thomas Mair, 53.
