Mohamed Salah has been criticized again by his Muslim followers after posting a photo of him and his family in front of a Christmas tree.

The Liverpool star, who is Muslim, captioned the photo with ‘#MerryChristmas’.

As has become tradition for them, he, his wife, wife Magi, and daughters Makka and Kayan posed in matching pajamas for his Christmas post, smiling in front of their tree and a gingerbread person.

Muslims do not traditionally celebrate Christmas, but some do participate in the festivities that take place during the Christian holiday.

“You let me down bro,” one user wrote on Instagram, where Salah shared the message with his 63.7 million followers.

“Delete this right now,” another posted, while a third wrote: “Right now I’m just disappointed in you bro.”

Mohamed Salah has again faced criticism from his Muslim followers after continuing his annual tradition of posting a photo in front of a Christmas tree.
