Gogglebox star looks completely unrecognisable as she returns from university to reunite with her famous sister

Former Gogglebox star Ava-Grace Moffatt looked completely unrecognizable as she returned home from university on Tuesday to reunite with her famous sister, Scarlett.

The reality star, 18, first rose to fame as a young child on the hit show, and almost a decade later she’s all grown up.

Scarlett, 34, also known for winning I’m A Celeb, took to her Instagram Stories and posted a clip of the pair doing some last-minute Christmas shopping.

“I’m excited that my sister is back from college for Christmas,” she wrote, as the two enjoyed some festive bonding.

The Moffatt family joined Gogglebox in 2014 during its third series, with Scarlett quickly becoming a fan favorite due to her outspoken personality.

Scarlett initially appeared alone with her parents, Mark and Betty, but was later joined by Ava from series seven.

This was followed by her then boyfriend Luke Crodden taking part in series eight, as reported by The Mirror.

Following the family’s stint on Gogglebox, Ava and the family joined Scarlett in Australia when she presented the spin-off I’m A Celeb after winning the main show in 2016.

In 2019, the family also appeared in the Channel Four documentary The Tribe Next Door, in which they lived with the Himba community in a Namibian tribal village, in an exact replica of their parents’ home in Newcastle.

The sister outing comes after Scarlett endured Christmas chaos earlier in the day as much of the food she ordered from Click & Collect was replaced with something else.

The TV presenter shared a video on Christmas Eve in which she told fans about her festive family treats which were unavailable and so were replaced when she went to get them.

Luckily, Scarlett saw the funny side of things as she laughed while describing all her substitutions.

She said, “substitutes are wild. So I and [her son] Jude went to get our click and collect this morning at seven or half past six. So they said, “There are some substitutes.”

‘No problem, sir. You’re dressed as an elf, I’m in a party mood, I don’t care. What are the substitutes?

“Uh, your stack of salted caramel profiteroles, we swapped them for two packs of eclairs. We swapped your rosemary for making cocktails with a little parsley. Cauliflower cheese, we put some potato dolphin threads in it.”

Laughing, Scarlett added: “Honestly, I’m going to take a look because some of them are hilarious.

“I half expected my pigs and blankets to put a faux fur throw in it and just say enjoy it, it’s a blanket, because honestly it’s hilarious.”

Scarlett encouraged her followers to share their own Christmas replacement horror stories, and there were plenty of them.
