Festive Travis Kelce wears Santa hat into Chiefs-Steelers game as fans hope for Taylor Swift Christmas cameo
Travis Kelce has arrived at Acrisure Stadium as the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers star in the NFL’s Christmas Day doubleheader.
At 11 a.m. ET, the NFL posted a video of the tight end walking the halls of Acrisure wearing an all-brown ensemble topped with a Santa Claus hat.
Kelce wore the same outfit when the team landed in Pittsburgh on Christmas Eve.
The reigning back-to-back Super Bowl champions enter the game with a near-perfect 14-1 record, while their host has a 10-5 record. Kelce arrived at the venue just hours before the 1pm kickoff.
As Kelce and the Chiefs get ready for the holiday action, fans wait to see if Taylor Swift will cheer him on from the suites in her home state.
Swift was last seen at Arrowhead Stadium on December 21, when Travis and the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans to move one win closer to their third straight title.

Earlier this month, Kelce attended an Eras Tour-themed party for Swift to celebrate the end of her marathon tour.
Photos emerged from the party – believed to be on December 13 – which showed Kelce and Swift enjoying each other’s company and dancing together.
The 13th was also Swift’s 35th birthday, and the pop star celebrated her big day with a “meaningful and memorable” party.
Despite a slower season, the 35-year-old Kelce has a chance to make Chiefs history on Christmas Day.
He is currently tied with Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdowns in Chiefs history with 76. One more trip to the end zone will give Kelce the Kansas City record.
Ahead of the Steelers game, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin paid tribute to Kelce in a year where he hasn’t reached the explosive heights of last campaign.
But Tomlin explained that Kelce’s stat decline shows how much unheralded work he does for his team.
“He’s an incredibly unselfish player, I don’t think he gets enough credit for that,” Tomlin said.

If Kelce scores a touchdown against the Steelers, he will claim a new record for the Chiefs
The Chiefs are 14-1 going into Wednesday’s game, while the Pittsburgh Steelers are 10-5
‘Great playmaker for sure, but really impressed by the selflessness of his play.’
While the Chiefs have been dominant as a team, Kelce’s numbers have dropped significantly with just 89 receptions for 739 yards and two touchdowns.
The Steelers will present a serious test for the Chiefs. Russell Wilson’s team leads the AFC North but is tied for the same record as the Baltimore Ravens, who also play on Christmas Day.
With both teams battling for the division title, the Steelers’ win against Kelce and Patrick Mahomes is crucial to the eventual outcome of their postseason.
After Wednesday’s game, the Chiefs wrap up the regular season heading to the Denver Broncos on Jan. 5.
