Cricket legend David Warner shows off his VERY cringe dance moves in festive pyjamas

David Warner has gotten into the party spirit by showing off his very cringe-worthy dance moves.

The cricket legend, 38, shared a hilarious video on Instagram of himself dancing up a storm with his daughters while wearing bright green Christmas-themed pajamas.

The Sydney athlete appeared to be having the time of his life as he danced with his children in his living room, enthusiastically gyrating his hips and sticking out his bum.

David’s face was partially hidden by a Santa hat and he cheekily pulled it off as he energetically competed against his young daughters in a fun dance competition.

His wife Candice, 39, could be heard shouting “move your feet” in the background as she cheered her husband on during the hilarious family activity.

“Christmas games are the best,” Candice wrote alongside the images.

The former batsman also shared a photo of him and Candice braving a storm alongside their daughters in their festive green and pink pajamas, and captioned it with some sweet words.

‘A very Merry Christmas from all of us. Have a great day everyone. #christmas #fun #joy #family.”

David and Candice are the proud parents of three daughters: Ivy, 10, Indi, eight, and Isla, five.

Candice recently shared an insight into what David’s new career could look like after he announced his semi-retirement from Test cricket.

When asked what David plans to do next, she said their three daughters will now take priority, which she described as “magic.”

“The next six months won’t actually look much different to what we’re used to,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

Candice, who married David in 2015, told how her husband can now ‘take the girls to cricket’ and ‘to football on Sundays’ as well as pick them up from school.

David shocked the sporting world by announcing his retirement from Test and One Day International cricket in June last year.

He then made the emotional decision to retire from one-day international cricket ahead of his final Test match.

David hit a match-winning 57 runs in his final innings to help Australia secure victory at the SCG and complete a 3-0 win over Pakistan, giving him the perfect farewell to red-ball cricket.

The veteran said he felt ‘comfortable’ when the time came to end his ODI career, including after Australia’s World Cup win in India late last year.

He stressed that the decision would create opportunities to play franchise cricket abroad and would not rule out a comeback if Australia needs an opener for the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.

‘It was a decision I felt very comfortable with. To win in India, where we came from, was absolutely amazing,” said David.

“The team, not only led by Patty but coach Andrew McDonald himself, everything is just so calm and relaxed within the team.”
