Denver Broncos give update on Tyler Badie three months after collapsing in an NFL game
Three months after Tyler Badie collapsed on the sideline during the Denver Broncos’ game against the New York Jets, the running back has been cleared to return to practice.
Badie’s first practice since suffering a heartbreaking medical episode at MetLife Stadium on September 29 was Tuesday afternoon.
The former Missouri star’s return to training kicks off the 21-day period in which he returns to competitive action.
That three-week period would cover Denver’s final two regular-season games and a Wild Card matchup, which the Broncos are on the verge of winning.
Badie suffered the injury at the end of the first quarter after falling awkwardly on the turf.
After going to the sideline, Badie collapsed while medical personnel attended to him and placed him on a stabilizer to transport him off the field.

Badie suffered a back and spine injury on September 29, which has kept him out of action since
Not much has been heard about Badie’s condition since, with his return the same season, with his spine and back injury, a minor miracle.
Badie could return to the Broncos lineup on Saturday when they play the Bengals.
Tyler Badie scored his first NFL touchdown late last season and was thought to fill a need for this year’s team.
That hope had been put on hold since the injury. Now, looking at a Wild Card game where Denver isn’t favored, likely against Buffalo or Pittsburgh, Badie’s return is needed more than ever.
Should the Broncos win either of their final two games, they would reach the playoffs.
