Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has enjoyed Christmas dinner with his family amid uncertainty over his future.
Rashford posted a photo on Instagram of himself and his family, with the caption: ‘Family time – Happy Christmas everyone’.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from United after falling out of favor under Ruben Amorim.
Amorim, who took over as United boss in November, has left Rashford out of his last three matchday squads – against Manchester City, Tottenham and Bournemouth.
In a bombshell interview last week, Rashford, who has spent his entire career so far at United, indicated he is ready for a new challenge.
That led to suggestions from Amorim that it was not Rashford’s decision to give the interview as he questioned the player’s entourage.

Amorim suggested that Rashford was wrongly advised by his entourage that he wanted to leave
Amorim said: “It’s a difficult situation. I understand that these players have a lot of people around them, and that sometimes they make choices that are not the player’s first idea. I understand, I can separate things.
‘I’m always there to help Marcus, just like any other player. They have to do what they have to do. They chose to do the interview because it wasn’t just about Marcus. I understand that.’
Speaking to Sky Sports, Amorim added: ‘As a coach I only concentrate on the performance and the way he trains. For the rest, it is better for me and the club to deal with it when the time comes.
“Right now I’m focusing on improving Marcus. We need a talented guy like Marcus right now. I’ll forget about the interview now and see what I see on the field.’
Amorim has revealed that Rashford wants to return to action for United, with the coach saying it is his decision to leave him out.
The United boss insisted he knows what he is doing when it comes to leaving Rashford out of the squad.
Amorim said, “Yes, it’s my decision. He wants to play. He tries. It’s my decision, my decision alone.
‘(There is) no situation. If I feel this is the right time, I will make a change. Until then, I will continue to think about what is best for the team.
“I’ve spoken to a lot of players individually during training, so I try to do things my way, and that’s the only way I know. If I don’t, I will lose myself, and I won’t lose myself. I know what I’m doing.’
