Gay Georgia couple will spend life in prison for sick abuse of their adopted sons

Two Georgian men convicted of the sickening sexual abuse of their two adopted sons will spend the rest of their lives in prison.

A judge has decided that married gay couple William and Zachary Zulock, once lovers of Georgia’s LGBTQ scene, will each serve 100 years in prison for sodomizing their young sons, recording the sex acts and providing videos of the abuse to other pedophiles. 11Alive reported.

“These two defendants truly created a house of horrors and placed their extremely dark desires above everyone else,” Alcovy Judicial Circuit District Attorney Randy McGinley said at their sentencing.

“However, the depth of the suspects’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is no greater than the determination of those who fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case.

“The determination I have seen in these two young victims over the past two years is truly inspiring.”

In August, William Zulock, 34, pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated child abuse, two counts of incest and two counts of child sexual exploitation.

Zachary Zulock, 36, entered his own guilty plea on Oct. 21 to two counts of aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of sodomy, three counts of child sexual exploitation, and two counts of pandering to a person 18.

Zachary was tried on two incest counts and found guilty by Judge Jeffrey L. Foster.

The case against the couple began in July when investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspected child sexual abuse (CSAM) material uploaded to a Google account with a Walton County IP address. After arguments from the prosecution and defense, Foster followed the state’s recommendation and sentenced both men to 100 years behind bars without the possibility of parole, followed by probation for life.

But due to the severity of their offense, neither will be eligible for parole until the entire hundred years are up, meaning they will certainly die in prison.

In their initial search of the Zulocks’ home, police reviewed two weeks of footage from surveillance cameras in the home, which showed the men sexually abusing the children in different parts of the home.

The case against the couple began on July 22, 2022, when the Walton County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit.

Investigators received an alert from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) uploaded to a Google account with a Walton County IP address.

After obtaining a search warrant, investigators raided the Zulocks’ home and discovered more than seven terabytes of digital evidence, surveillance footage of the home and cellphone data that contained graphic images, videos and text messages discussing the abuse.

In subsequent interviews, both men admitted to years of sexually abusing their sons, whom they adopted in 2018 from a now-defunct Christian organization.

This involved sodomizing the boys and forcing them to perform oral sex on them, they told police.

The investigation into the Zulocks also found that they communicated with two other pedophiles – Hunter Lawless and Luis Vizcarro-Sanchez – about the abuse of their boys.

Arrest documents show Zachary Zulock messaged Lawless on Snapchat saying he was “going to fuck his son” and would “stand by.” Lawless also told police that the Zulocks offered their boys to him “several times.”

Lawless was arrested after downloading a large amount of child pornography that was traced by police to his Gmail address.

Lawless admitted to receiving child abuse material from Zachary and was later sentenced to twenty years in prison, with the first twelve served in prison.

Incriminating messages from Zachary were also on Vizcarro-Sanchez’s phone. He pleaded guilty to pandering to a person under 18 years of age.

After also pleading guilty to the unrelated crime of stealing computers from his workplace, Vizcarro-Sanchez was sentenced to 60 years, with the first fifteen years to be served in prison.

The couple was able to adopt their two sons, now aged 12 and 10, despite Zachary being accused of raping another boy in 2011. That allegation was reported to police, but was never investigated thoroughly enough by prosecutors to warrant charges.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock raised their sons in an affluent Atlanta suburb for the roughly three years they had custody of them.

Zachary worked for a local bank branch, while William worked for a local government customer service center, but somehow the couple made $7,500 a week.

They were able to build their dream home in an area where comparable properties sell for $900,000.

Behind their facade of a happy family living in a beautiful house, was the reality that they regularly raped their children.

Zachary and William adopted the boys from foster care. The boys, then five and three, had been taken from their heroin-addicted parents and placed in foster care.

The pair said the abuse and recordings took place between 2019 and 2021.

In 2021, just a year before they were arrested on horrific sexual abuse allegations, the couple explored adopting a two-year-old girl.

The adoption agency they used was All God’s Children Inc, a now defunct special needs agency in Georgia. It is unclear how extensive their checks on the couple were before admitting the boys.
