Reporter who called Blake Lively out over ‘rude’ interview says she ‘does not feel bad’ amid lawsuit

The reporter who called out Blake Lively for her ‘rude’ interview has insisted she ‘doesn’t feel bad about it’ amid the actress’ lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.

In the weeks leading up to the release of It Ends With Us in August, rumors of an ongoing feud between Blake and Justin dominated headlines, putting the leads under intense scrutiny online.

Amid the drama, award-winning journalist Kjersti Flaa strongly criticized the Gossip Girl alum, 37, for a resurfaced, “awkward” sit-down they had in 2016.

During the interview, Blake made a sarcastic joke about Kjersti’s body, and the reporter claimed that the “traumatizing” moment made her want to “leave” the industry forever.

This week it was revealed that Blake sued her costar for sexual harassment on set, claiming that Justin and his team orchestrated a smear campaign against her.

But Kjersti, 51, who is originally from Norway but now lives in California, has now told DailyMail.com that she does not regret her decision to speak out about the interview.

“I don’t feel bad,” Kjersti told DailyMail.com after being asked about Blake’s new lawsuit.

“I showed her in an interview how she behaves badly and what it looks like when the power dynamic is off and you are disrespected at work. It has nothing to do with her accusations against him.”

Kjersti also doubled down on her claims that Justin’s team didn’t encourage her to post the video.

She labeled their chat as the 'most awkward situation she had ever experienced'

‘I’ve never spoken to anyone on his team. I never met him. I have nothing to do with their smear campaign,” Kjersti emphasized.

DailyMail.com has contacted Blake’s representatives for comment.

Blake and fellow actress Parker Posey sat down with Kjersti in 2016 to discuss their film Cafe Society.

But when Kjersti made a comment about the then pregnant actress’s belly, things immediately became tense.

“First of all, congratulations on your little baby bump,” said Kjersti, the founder of Content Now TV.

“Congratulations on your little baby bump,” Blake fired back, as the interviewer giggled nervously.

Kjersti told DailyMail.com afterwards that Blake’s comment “felt like a bullet” because she couldn’t get pregnant.

She said that Blake made her feel “belittled and ignored” throughout the meeting, and that this ultimately led to her questioning whether she “ever wanted to do these types of interviews again.”

‘It was such a traumatizing experience for me. “I was there to do a job and they made it as difficult as possible for me to do that,” she said in August.

‘I was there so they could promote a movie. I was invited to meet them. It certainly didn’t feel that way.

‘I felt belittled and ignored and I wondered if I would ever want to do these types of interviews again.

‘It took me a while to get over it and rebuild my confidence.’

Kjersi told DailyMail.com that Blake’s reaction was especially hurtful because she couldn’t get pregnant.

‘[Her comment] left me almost paralyzed. To be honest, it hurts because obviously I wasn’t pregnant and could never get pregnant, so to me that comment was like a bullet,” she shared.

‘I didn’t know how to react. I felt very uncomfortable during the entire interview and all I wanted to do was leave and get out of there as quickly as possible.

‘It felt like a complete failure. I kept going over the interview in my head afterward, trying to figure out what I had said or done to make them behave that way. I didn’t think it made any sense.’

This week, Blake filed a shocking lawsuit accusing Justin of sexual harassment on set.

In the lawsuit, she alleged that he showed her nude videos and images of other women and discussed his previous alleged porn addiction, according to TMZ.

Her lawyers also alleged that Justin and his team retaliated against her harassment complaints by “tarnishing her image, harming her businesses, and causing her and her family serious emotional harm.”

Private messages and emails obtained through a subpoena from the actress contain detailed information about the alleged plot, several of which were sent by Hollywood crisis management expert Melissa Nathan.

Justin’s team refuted the allegations, claiming the legal action was an attempt to patch up Blake’s reputation.
