Ibrahima Konate aims sly swipe at Arsenal fans as Liverpool star shares his thoughts on Bukayo Saka’s injury sustained against Crystal Palace
Ibrahima Konate has taken a brutal swipe at Arsenal fans after responding to a report about Bukayo Saka’s latest injury setback.
After a heavy blow for the Gunners, Saka left the field after 24 minutes against Crystal Palace on Saturday, holding his right hamstring.
It has not yet been confirmed how long the England winger will be out, but Arsenal fans will be hopeful that the 23-year-old will be available again in the near future.
Liverpool fans, meanwhile, took the opportunity to tease their rivals about the injury, bringing up an old post that Arsenal fans had made about Konate’s injury.
Last month, after Konate suffered an injury in Liverpool’s win over Real Madrid, an Arsenal fan turned to X and wrote: “Rivalry aside, I hope Konate’s injury is serious.”
Following Saka’s injury on Saturday, a Liverpool fan responded with a photo of Saka lying on the Selhurst Park turf and wrote: ‘Karma is ab****’.

As rival fans argued, Konate insisted that ‘we are not like them’ while talking about Arsenal fans
But as the two fans argued online, Konate quickly intervened and suggested Liverpool fans should not stoop to that level.
By going to the social media platform, Konate wrote: ‘We are not like them… [eyes emoji]we wish no harm. anyway In Sha Allah big 3 points today.’
Konate is currently sidelined and missed Liverpool’s 6-3 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday night, leaving them four points clear at the top.
Mikel Arteta has admitted he is ‘quite concerned’ about Saka’s hamstring injury, which saw the winger leave Selhurst Park on crutches.
Arteta said: ‘He (Saka) felt something in his hamstring. He couldn’t continue. He will have to be judged. Pretty worried about that one.
‘It’s difficult to do that (assessment) now. They tested it inside, but it’s very difficult to say how bad it is.’
The England international – who provided five goals and 10 assists in the competition – was replaced at Selhurst Park by Belgian team-mate Leandro Trossard.
Arsenal fans will be hoping it is not a repeat of the hamstring injury from October.

During the international break that month, the winger was forced to withdraw from the England squad after sustaining the injury during their match against Greece.
That hamstring problem kept the 23-year-old out for 39 days, a period that also included the disappointing 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
With clashes against Man United and rivals Tottenham in the new year, Mikel Arteta will be hopeful it is not the same problem for the Arsenal player.
