This is the shocking moment a Boeing 737 passenger plane overran the runway and stopped just 15 meters from the sea.
Footage shows flight DY430 approaching the runway in Molde on the northern shore of Norway’s Romsdal Peninsula and deviating from it shortly after the quick landing.
The plane made the terrifying landing after taking off from Oslo late yesterday afternoon.
The domestic flight, which takes about 45 minutes, took off an hour late at 6.19pm before skidding off the Molde runway in adverse weather conditions.
The Boeing 737-800 stopped at 13.5 meters before plunging into the icy sea that surrounds much of the airport.
The 11-year-old plane came to rest about 500 feet past the end of the runway.
Passengers on the Norwegian flight were evacuated via slides as emergency services rushed to the scene.
A spokesperson for the budget airline said there were 165 passengers and six crew members on board the plane at the time.

Authorities are investigating what caused the plane to overrun the runway.
The Norwegian spokesman said there were strong winds and the runway was slippery due to freezing temperatures.
The country’s airport operator Avinor and local police said it was too early to speculate on the condition of the runway, but confirmed that strong gusts of wind had been reported in the region.
Several passengers noticed that the plane had landed further down the runway than normal, adding that some people were visibly concerned about this.
They were taken to the airport terminal where they answered questions from accident investigators.
Avinor, the emergency services and the municipality’s crisis team provided assistance on site.
Molde Airport temporarily closed the runway and suspended all flight operations.
The Norwegian Safety Investigation Authority is assessing the situation.
