She wrote: ‘Soooo.. let’s talk about hair loss.

‘The first photo was in June this year, I briefly talked about my hair but I was so ashamed going through this shortly after my kundalini awakening as I was processing a lot of blocked trauma and emotions (especially with the sacral chakra / hormones).

‘I cried a lot, couldn’t understand what was happening and felt the ugliest I’ve ever felt. As someone who got a blow dryer every other day with long caramel locks – this was hard for my mind to process.

‘Now I don’t know the reason for it and that made it worse for me, but I felt so insecure that I filled my hair up with colored hair pins and none of you would know, the sides fell out too and it was the beginning of my transformation internally and externally.

‘I cut off all my hair and shaved the sides like a fuck it moment that will be – and I lost the mask of hiding behind my hair for the first time in my life. Liberation.

‘I changed my diet and kept going with @arellauk because I’m impressed with their collagen…and now 6 months later my hair is BACK!!!

‘Our mind, body, soul – all connected. Sort all three, stay in harmony and balance.. eliminate stress and process trauma, digest the good things for your body, meditate and you are on a winning streak.’

Following the post, her fans took to the comments to thank the star for her vulnerability.

They said, ‘I’ve been losing my hair since August. The hardest thing I’ve had to go through, but no one understands because it seems so superficial’

‘This is incredible and such an inspiring post. I love how honest you are. I have to take this advice: “You are such an inspiration that you just keep going,” “Thank you for sharing this.”

‘The exact same thing happened to me. Mine came back too. I’m glad it’s back.’ ‘I love your vulnerability and authenticity. I’m proud of you! Your journey is amazing.”

Malin has suffered many traumas in her past: she suffered from an eating disorder, bad relationships and lost both her parents and her daughter.

It comes after Malin revealed she had split from her boyfriend just two months after they went Instagram official.

The Love Island star admitted she had found love again with Swedish hunk Jim Sundgren in July, after suffering both heartbreak and abuse in her previous relationships.

However, the pair sparked split rumors after unfollowing each other on Instagram last month and now Malin has confirmed the pair have gone their separate ways.

Malin wrote on her Instagram Story on Thursday: “And for those messaging me about my relationship status, I am definitely single, as I promised myself I would NEVER settle.

‘I really know what I deserve and want in a man. I see how I should be as a 32 year old and feel like I should rush into something for the sake of society, but that will never happen because I love every inch of myself to be alone for now.”

Malin previously explained that she met her new boyfriend online after a period of ‘healing’, sharing that she had ‘never been connected to anyone like him before’.

Her last boyfriend Jared broke up with her just four weeks after giving birth to their daughter Xaya in January 2022.

While her former partner Tom Kemp was abusive during their relationship and was jailed in 2020 for assaulting her.

Malin – who is half Swedish and half Sri Lankan – explained that her new boyfriend is also from Sweden and “was nothing like her usual type.”

She told New magazine: ‘It’s early days but I’ve never met anyone like him. I have never been as connected to anyone in my entire life as I am to him, and it makes me emotional to think about it.

“When you’ve been through all these abusive relationships, you can do the healing and then you feel comfortable being alone. I got to a point where I thought, “Maybe I’ll just be alone forever, just me and Xaya, and I’ll bask in that.” But now my heart is full.’

It’s been a tough month for the star after she and her daughter barely escaped with their lives after their £100,000 BMW car exploded on the motorway.

Her vehicle caught fire just moments after they made it to safety on the dual carriageway and the true extent of the incident was revealed with horrific footage showing their car mangled and on fire.

Malin and her daughter seemed lucky to escape unscathed, with the TV personality later commenting that they were ‘seconds away from death’.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Malin told how smoke started pouring from her car as she drove along a dual carriageway with the two-year-old boy.

She wrote a message on her stories: ‘This morning I was driving Xaya and my car started smoking out of nowhere.

‘I took Xaya outside and ran along the side of the dual carriageway in time, only for the plane to explode and catch fire a few minutes later.’

The beauty went on to say that she was “in shock” and will be taking some time away from social media while a friend handles any questions.

She added: ‘In shock I’m staying away from here and @erintidey will answer emails or whatever is needed work-wise. Me and Xaya are safe and sound.”

Following her ordeal, Malin expressed her shock that she and her daughter were close to death, revealing that she now wants “answers” from the carmaker.

She told The Sun: ‘Normally things don’t bother me, right? I’ve had the grief and all those things happen to me, and I’ve dealt with it a little bit, but never anything that jeopardized my own life with my daughter. We were seconds away from death.

‘Someone close to me has always died, does that make sense? But to feel Xaya and I in that situation was just next level. But I can’t believe they would allow a car like that on the road, a hundred thousand pound car. I want answers.”

Malin, who only had her car serviced two months ago, goes on to recall how she was initially made aware of a problem when she was alerted to an ‘engine fault’ warning.

Her instincts were kicked in when she smelled smoke as she drove along, with the TV star immediately stopping her car, throwing her daughter on her back and fleeing from her daughter.

She added to the publication that while running she was spotted by an ex-soldier named Pete, who came to the rescue and put the mother and daughter in his own car for safety.
