Twerking porch pirates return to scene of the crime to complain about victim posting Ring footage online

A pair of twerking porch pirates have returned to the scene of their crime to moan about the revealing Ring doorbell footage the victim posted online.

Two masked thieves were caught stealing packages from a home in Sicklerville, New Jersey, before ‘twerking’ in front of the victim’s Ring doorbell camera.

The footage, later posted to the ‘Safety & Security’ feature of the Ring Neighbors app, shows the brazen thieves running up to City Hall in Independence Square just after 6:30pm on December 9.

One suspect can be seen grabbing a package from the sidewalk, while the other bent over, flashed his partially clothed bottom at the camera and “twerked” before they both fled.

The stolen packages contained drinking glasses and baby items valued at $74, Gloucester Township police said.

Just two days after the brazen theft, a lone porch pirate returned to the scene under cover of night – and wearing a face mask and hoodie – to complain about scandalous images the victim had posted online.

“Come on dude, not cool bro, come on, not cool,” the hooded thief said as he moved closer to the doorbell camera to show the lewd footage.

“That’s my ass on the internet!”

Just ten minutes later, the suspect returned to the sidewalk with one of the stolen items in his hand – a broken glass – and carefully placed it in front of the house before walking away.

“Um, I was going to give this back,” the alleged thief said to the camera.

Gloucester Police have since issued their own statement about the somewhat comical theft, warning locals about the pirates and offering their own take on the incident.

The video version, titled ‘You Can’t Make This Stuff Up’: Crime Stoppers Exclusive’, offered a video account of the incident coupled with a humorous written account of the ‘naughty’ theft.

One of the two suspected porch pirates appeared to be wearing a sweatshirt that said “Hollywood” on the bottom, along with several lines of text from 2Pac and Dr. Dre’s 1995 hit ‘California Love’.

Gloucester Township Police are seeking help identifying the two people in the videos.
