Although her 1996 cult film about a group of four outcast teenage witches is among the most popular horror films to rewatch this time of year, she managed to slip into the supermarket almost unnoticed to pick up some essential groceries.
The former teen star, now 52, looked as fresh-faced as ever, wearing her shoulder-length brown hair in loose waves and minimal makeup.
Before landing the role of Sarah Bailey, she captured the world’s attention with her breakthrough role as a suicidal teenager in Empire Records in 1995 and her role in Encino Man, opposite Brendan Fraser.

It’s Robin Tunney!
Last month, Tunney announced that she has been cast in a new indie film, titled By Design, starring Juliette Lewis and Mamoudou Athie.
“Amanda Kramer has breathed new life into my independent film career and allowed me to collaborate with the most incredible group of artists both in front of and behind the camera,” she wrote on Instagram when making the announcement.
She continued: ‘Thank you @listentosilk @juliettelewis @samantham01 @smudgystuff @mirandambailey for helping me fall in love with what I do again. I can’t wait for you all to feast your eyes on what we’ve created together.’
In addition to film roles in Horse Girl, Cherish, Hollywoodland and Looking Glass, she also starred in the television series The Mentalist as Teresa Lisbon from 2008 to 2015.
The Chicago native is currently engaged to Nicky Marmet, the father of her two children.
The couple, who got engaged on Christmas Day 2012 while on vacation in Rio de Janeiro, welcomed their first child together, named Oscar, in June 2016.
In 2020, she gave birth to their daughter, Colette Kathleen.
