Iconic 1990s pop star Whigfield looked sensational as she recently stripped down to a black bikini to soak up the summer sun.
The singer, 53, took to her Instagram page to share some snaps of herself in her swimwear, almost 30 years after the release of her hit Saturday Night.
She posed for some photos in the two-piece while on a recent vacation in Italy.
The Danish star, real name Sannie Charlotte Carlson, fronted the Italian dance act Whigfield.
She achieved worldwide success with the 1993 release Saturday Night, which reached the top 10 in a number of different countries the following year, while reaching number one in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany and Switzerland.

Known by her stage names Whigfield, Naan and Sannie, she is still making music.
Appearing on the breakfast show Lorraine in 2019, the singer admitted that a healthy lifestyle helped her maintain a youthful complexion.
She said, “The secret is to do everything differently than in the 90s. I sleep at 10 every night, I eat healthy and I exercise every day.
“I’m not a bad girl anymore.”
Reflecting on life away from the spotlight, Whigfield also revealed that she lives on the outskirts of Milan, in the Italian countryside.
She said, “I used to be just so busy. I sometimes promoted three singles at the same time.
“It was crazy. Now I stop and smell the roses.’
The artist admitted that in recent years she has turned her back on mainstream music and instead focused on the vibrant international club scene.
She added, “I’ve been doing house music for three years. I’ve written music for other DJs.’

Whigfield previously said she was “really honored” that the song became so popular, but wished she had been better prepared for her sudden rise to fame.
“I wish someone had prepared you for these things because you just kind of get pushed into it,” she told 9Honey.
“You need a strong personality and I think you need to be confident in what you’re doing.
“Because I love being on stage – I really genuinely enjoy it and I love the audience.”
