2000s pop singer Andy Scott-Lee has announced he has become a father for the first time, after his girlfriend gave birth to a baby boy.
The 43-year-old Pop Idol finalist, who is best known as a member of the ’90s group 3SL, shared a series of adorable photos of the newborn and his partner from the hospital on Saturday.
Andy also revealed his son’s unique name and shared the happy news on social media, saying: “All his dreams have come true.”
He wrote: ‘Meet our beautiful baby boy Rome Alexander Scott-Lee. Born: 8.57am on Thursday 25/07/24. Weight 6lbs 5oz.
‘Mother and son are doing great. Honestly I never thought this day would come! I can’t even put into words what it feels like to become a father.

“You guys are incredible! I love you and Rome so much and can’t wait to create beautiful memories together as a family.

Andy, who was previously married to Liberty X star Michelle Heaton and is the brother of Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee, was seen in the comments with congratulatory messages from fans.
His proud sister Lisa wrote: ‘We are so happy for you Andy and Amy and I can’t wait to meet my little nephew Rome soon!!! So proud of you bro.’
Andy also revealed his son’s unique name and excitedly said ‘all his dreams have come true’ as he shared the happy news on social media

Little is known about Andy’s partner, with whom he first shared a photo during a lunch date last month.
Andy’s pop group 3SL reached number 11 in the UK charts in 2002 with their debut single Take It Easy.
They released one more single which charted at number 16, but was later dropped by their record label Sony.

The singer also took part in the qualifying rounds to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005, finishing in third place.

Andy later married Lydia Louisa, who competed in the 13th series of Big Brother in 2012. They later went their separate ways.
