An eight-year-old boy has been left unconscious after being trapped hanging by his neck from a rope ladder at a TikTok-famous amusement park in Pennsylvania.
Two off-duty police officers performed CPR on the boy after the apparent freak accident at the Thrillz High Flying Adventure park in the King of Prussia shopping mall.
The boy, who was later rushed to hospital, had become entangled after starting headfirst down a rope ladder in the park that reportedly opened three weeks ago.
The accident, which happened around 1:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon, left many children and adults in tears, onlookers said.
Lisa Cannon, owner of Thrillz High Flying Adventure Park, said in a letter to NBC 10: “After our investigation and review of camera footage from today’s incident, we can say that the boy was seen heading headfirst down a ladder. rope and got tangled”.

CBS3 reported that he was able to speak with first responders.
A mother who witnessed the incident said: ‘My son and nephew were really upset.
‘They just wanted to go. I mean my son was on the verge of tears.
‘Many children were crying. Many adults were crying.
The park remained open Saturday but the section where the accident occurred was closed.
Thrillz High Flying Adventure has another park in Connecticut where it gained online fame thanks to its obstacle course reminiscent of the ‘Wipeout’ TV show.
TikTok videos showing users playing in the park have amassed millions of views.
It describes itself on its Facebook page as “Connecticut’s most exciting action/adventure park with huge airbags, zip lines, rock climbing walls, ropes courses, party rooms, virtual reality games and more.”

The Pennsylvania branch only opened earlier this month.
It is 37,000 square feet and features a host of rides, games, and virtual reality experiences.
It is run by husband and wife duo Lisa and Nick Cannon, who claim to have spent more than 15 years building a corporate career on Wall Street before deciding to take over the park.
It comes after a parent saw his leg snap in half while playing at a trampoline park.
Ryan Schelin, of Rathdrum, Idaho, had taken his kids to the Boise Trampoline Park in Nampa, when he challenged himself to bounce high enough to touch the top of a 12-foot padded wall.
The footage shows the smiling 30-year-old raising his hands in mid-air celebration as he accomplishes the feat to the delight of his cheering family.
However, 252 Ibs Ryan then ‘loses concentration’ and lands with all his weight on his right leg, causing it to ‘bend’ under the pressure and ‘break’ with a loud crack.
The father-of-three says the accident left him able to “bend his leg in half” and see the bones sticking out of his flesh.
