8 Mile actor cause of death revealed: Eminem’s costar Nashawn Breedlove died from fentanyl and cocaine overdose as his ‘body was found decomposed on apartment floor’

The cause of death of 8 Mile actor Nashawn Breedlove was revealed on Friday.
Breedlove, whose character Lotto famously battled Eminem in the iconic 2002 film, died of “acute intoxication by fentanyl, acetylfentanyl, cocaine and ethanol,” according to the New Jersey Medical Examiner, per TMZ.
His death in September at the age of 46 was noted as 'accidental'.
The autopsy report also revealed that the star's body was found decomposed on the bedroom floor of his apartment.
The news source added that Breedlove's body was discovered after police broke down his front door with a crowbar after a neighbor living below him complained about a “brown liquid leaking through the ceiling into her unit.”

Breedlove's 2002 scene in 8 Mile pits Lotto against Eminem's B-Rabbit, rapping, “I feel bad, I gotta kill that dude from Leave it to Beaver” as the audience is awed – before he ultimately loses the rap battle.
At the time of his death, rapper Mickey Factz posted a tribute on Instagram, writing, “RIP to one of the few emcees to beat Eminem… Lotto from 8 Mile.
'Whose friends affectionately called him OX. You will be missed for your tenacity and aggressiveness.”
A friend of Nashawn added: “My best friend and brother since 15 years old. We've all experienced it. Rest in peace my brother, I love you and the family and my cousin OX FOREVER.”
Another wrote: 'Thanks for posting this. Nashawn was so humble and unassuming that he didn't even know he had real fans.
'He was so talented. Not only was he a great MC, he also sang better than Luther. He blessed me with my son @youngzaak and I swear that is Nashawn to the 10th power.
'I will always be his biggest fan. If only you all knew his talent. Please pray for our strength, it is needed. Thanks again @mickey.factz.”
Before starring in 8 Mile, Breedlove rapped under the stage name OX and was featured on the soundtrack of the 2001 film, The Wash with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
