Law enforcement officials informed the station that “50 threw the mic at his crew in the production room and hit the victim,” and that the woman claimed to officers, “50 looked straight at her before throwing the mic.”

After being hit by the microphone, the ventilator was taken to hospital to treat a “wound to her head.”

Sources told TMZ that 50 Cent “didn’t target the woman, but he still treated her well.”

Another insider close to the rapper explained that the woman was in a locked room near the stage where she was “not allowed to appear.”

The rapper has been on the road for his Final Lap tour, which officially kicked off last month in July and will conclude on December 14 in Auckland, New Zealand, with international dates starting in late September.

Cardi B is another artist who recently faced a similar incident in July when she threw a microphone at an audience member in Las Vegas after a drink was thrown at her.

Out of anger, she responded by throwing the microphone at the DJ, but was later legally acquitted in the battery case.

Lawyers for the singer, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, told the court TMZ in a statement at the time: “This afternoon we were contacted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. informed that NO charges will be brought against Cardi as a result of their investigation.”

“On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the diligent and prompt resolution of this case by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept.” The microphone itself was later auctioned on eBay for nearly $100,000.

50 Cent hasn’t yet addressed the incident, but earlier on Thursday, he jumped to Instagram to share photos with his son, Sire, 10, who also attended the concert in LA.

The post included two photos of the artist and his youngest son, which he shares with Daphne Joy. The star – whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III – also welcomed son, Marquise Jackson, 26, with ex Shaniqua Tompkins.

The duo stood close together on the stage covered in confetti and 50 Cent wrote, “My show in LA was SIRE approved, he said man, that was crazy!” My little man could feel the love.’

The microphone incident comes shortly after the Candy Shop rapper postponed his tour stop in Arizona, which was due to take place on Monday, August 28.

However, due to a heat wave and temperatures rising to 116 degrees, the artist made the decision not to take the stage. Instead, he jumped to his main Instagram page on Sunday to reveal the news to his fans and followers.

“Due to the extreme heat, tomorrow’s show in Phoenix, AZ will be postponed. For anyone wanting a refund, please visit the point of purchase for instructions.’

The father-of-two then said, “I’ll be back in Arizona soon! 116 degrees is dangerous for everyone.”
