50 Cent insists he’s NOT on Ozempic while revealing 40lbs weight loss… two years after being fat-shamed over Super Bowl performance and turned into a meme
50 Cent said on Instagram Stories on Wednesday that his recent weight loss of more than 40 pounds is a result of time spent in the gym, as opposed to taking Ozempic.
The Grammy-winning rap artist, 48, was seen in a clip for his 30.8 million followers, sitting in a vehicle wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers ball cap.
The In da Club rapper responded after his followers debated how he shed the pounds in a series of social media posts he made earlier this week looking slim.
50 Cent, whose full name is Curtis Jackson, seemed to be in a relaxed mood as he set the record straight about weight loss.
“You want to talk about weight loss, I was at the gym, I was working,” said the rapper, whose hits include Candy Shop, PIMP and If I Can’t.

He continued, “They’ll say it’s Ozempic; I was running, I was running, I was doing what I had to do, you’ve seen me on tour, I was running around.”
50 Cent then got specific about the actual numbers, saying, “I was 253 pounds, I lost weight, I’m now 210 pounds — tell me your thoughts; tell me what you think later.’
The rapper then changed the subject and recommended the services of criminal defense attorney Drew Findling, who has represented high-profile clients such as Cardi B, Offset and former President Donald Trump in the past.
50 Cent’s comments came about two years after he was mocked on social media for gaining weight during his halftime performance at Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
50 Cent was part of the all-star rap ensemble that performed midway through the match, which also included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar were among them.
Part of the segment featured 50 Cent performing while suspended upside down during the halftime show, a repeat of what he did in his 2003 music video for In Da Club.
Some social media users posted about 50 Cent’s performance, and the musical artist addressed them in a 2022 Instagram post after the Super Bowl outing.
